“Good rooms, excellent price”

We chose this hotel as a night stay on our way to Grand Canyon. The hotel is situated 10 miles from the city. Plenty of parking is offered so that was never an issue.

The rooms were spacious, we were given a 2 queen bedroom, we used the second one for the luggage :). They were comfortable and we had good nights sleep during our stay.

The hotel offers a mini attraction in the form of a laser & fountain show that happens everyday. It lasts for 10mins.

We recently spent two nights at Sam's Town and wished we had two weeks. Upon check-in, front desk agent, Isaac, assigned us a room overlooking the garden court. We usually prefer outside rooms because they are brighter, but Isaac pointed out that this room was an upgrade with a safe, fridge and coffee maker - and he was right. It was a beautiful, spacious, quiet room with deliciously comfortable beds and we felt very smug about being there - similar to winning big in the casino (except we never do). Sam's Town is always a favorite with us as we love the casinos along the Boulder Highway, Wal-Mart is across the road and Eastside Cannery, Arizona Charlie's and Boulder Station are within walking distance for those who love to walk. The comlimentary Sam's Town shuttle drops off and picks up both downtown and on the strip - a remarkable service. We will return to Sam's Town again and again because it is a tremendous value for a little amount of money.

Room Tip: Ask for a room close to the central elevators

Thank you for your review. We are sorry that you were surprised by the charges when using the hotel room land-line to make calls. The amounts charged for that service are included in our in-room directory and each in-room phone has a notice attached to the face-plate to contact us for specific direct dialing rates before placing any calls. If for some reason that wasn't available in your room, please call and ask for the Hotel Manager and I'm sure she will be happy to assist.

Went to Las Vegas for my daughters wedding and to spend time with my grandbaby. We went on limited funds and were so surprised to find out how Clean and nice our motel room was. Our room faced into the mystic falls park and lightshow. It was amazing. We got to visit with family play with our grandbaby and got in a little gambling in the huge casino down stairs. We couldn't have asked for more. We stayed for 4 nights and were just amazed. This is our new favorite place. Oh and the buffet for two every morning was exquisite and it came with the room. We will definitley be back.

I stayed solo at Sam's Town Las Vegas for only four days ( Sep 16th - 19th 2012 ) followed by a single night with friends in their motor-home at Sam Town's RV park right next door before flying home. My room allocation this trip was one of their out-facing rooms and not quite as nice as my 5-day visit in April ( same rate ), an interior facing room looking over the large inner courtyard & garden lounge inside the 9-story hotel's hollow square design and a chance to view the nightly laser-light show in one corner of the inner area. One tip; All in-facing rooms are odd numbered and seem to have a few more ammenities than the even numbered rooms. Sam's Town LV on the Boulder Highway is a good bet if you don't mind being away from the "strip" and if you're looking for very reasonable rates for a good, clean hotel without the problems of the cheaper hotels nearer the downtown core ( eg: off Freement Street ) but still presenting plenty of casino action, including poker, bingo and sports betting plus several restaurant options and an evening show theatre. A very nice outdoor swimming pool is located at one end, complete with palm trees and free towel service; chais lounges, etc. ( note: NO life-guards ) Free shuttle bus service ( about a 20 min. ride to the strip ) is available to downtown and the airport, but check schedule timings for usefulness.

Room Tip: When possible, book an in-facing ( odd numbered ) room but compare rates for out facing.

This was the first time I stayed off the Strip and price was the main reason. Samstown Town had a very reasonable rate for 3 nights. It was a great experience. It is basically a one stop hotel for room, food, entertainment, and gambling. All of the restaurants are priced low. It has a movie theater and bowling. Rooms are clean and spacious. They also have a shuttle to the Strip if you are so inclined. No complaints or concerns.

We recently stayed for one night and were very happy with the cleanliness of the room! We also had their excellent Friday night buffet! We had a room facing the mountains which was beautiful. We will be back again!
