“Oustanding service.”

Four Seasons quality and service all the way around. The hotel is an oasis in the desert. This is a quiet and very elegant hotel located on the Las Vegas strip. It does not have a casino, however, does allow discreet and direct access to Mandalay Bay Casino. We dined at Verandah restaurant. The food and service during dinner were exceptional. This is the only hotel I would return to when visiting Las Vegas. I highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is unique as it avoids the smoky casinos. The room and bathroom we had was fairly large. Free bottled water was provided. The internet is not free which is a policy that should change. There were so many dogs staying at the hotel that it looked like there was a dog convention. The restaurant served very good food. We ate there numerous times. The service was excellent and all staff were very friendly and helpful.

We spent ages looking at all the big hotels in Vegas and decided to go with the Four Seasons. Located at the top 4 floors of the Mandalay Bay hotel it seemed bizarre but believe me it was so nice to come back to after busy days and nights.

Firstly check & out was smooth... take a look at the line up and the Venetian and Bellagio and its nuts! Esp with kids!! It is located at one end of the strip but I loved it when the taxi brought us back because it was just so quiet and calm. Attentive staff and very chid friendly.

When we checked in they asked our kiddies names as we requested a cot and when we arrived in our room we were welcomed to a beautifully made cot, m@m plates with the kids name in chocolate and lovely organic products for the kids in the bathrooms, as well as little sponges spelling out their names.. too cute! It was those touches that made it a nice stay...

The view was a strip view and was good... the room in itself was standard but clean with comfortable beds.

Disadvantages would be the room service for a glass milk was $12... I took the elevator to the Mandalay Bay store and bought it for $3! The walk to the room, but I have heard you get that with most Vegas hotels...

All in all a great stay and a peaceful one.. no casinos to walk through to get to your room, quiet pool, nice breakfasts. All at a price but when you look at the other hotels and how rammed they are it was worth it... esp when you have an empty pool and you see people from Mandalay Bay peering in ;)

We just got back from a stay at the Four Seasons, and would agree with all the other reviewers that the service level was way above what you might expect in other hotels. There was a very high staff-to-guest ratio, and every single employee we encountered always made eye contact and greeted us in a friendly way.

The view in our premium strip-level room was very nice, and as this was my husband and my first trip to Vegas, we appreciated being able to take in both the town and surrounding mountains. Beds were very comfy, and the concierge very helpful. We rented a car for a day from the hotel and drove out to Red Rock Canyon--very worth it if you like unusual outdoor beauty, and want a chance to see the area. Fitness Center was excellent. Since the hotel is really the top four floors of the Mandalay Bay resort, the casino and restaurants there are available to you. We ate some good meals at the Border Grille and Wolfgang Puck's Lupo in Mandalay Bay. House of Blues was also fun.

The only negative I can think of isn't a reflection on the hotel or its employees; rather, it is the out-of-the-way location to most of the "action" in Las Vegas. I loved the peace and quiet of the hotel, but it is about a 30 minute walk to get to the Bellagio or other center-strip locations if you are wanting entertainment or a meal out. My husband and I are runners, and obviously don't mind exercise, but if you are female and want to dress up, a 30 minute jaunt in heels is not my idea of fun. If you want to take a taxi, plan to spend about $40.00 round trip every time you want to go anywhere on the Strip, which is about 4 miles long. There is a tram you can take which runs behind the hotel zone, but it starts behind the MGM Grand, and can be confusing to reach.

Also, if you are allergic to dogs, you should be aware that the hotel allows them. We have two large labs and like dogs, but we had to chuckle at all the "yipe-yipes" we encountered. Lots of little white pooches in sweaters with painted hair and, in some cases, toenails! OMG--if you remember the Howells from Gilligan's Island, or have seen Paris Hilton's companion, you get the general idea.

Overall, a great experience at this hotel, and if you are looking for peace and quiet, stay here.

My husband and I have been staying here once or twice a year for the past 12 years to visit family. Before the hotel opened in 1998, the only choice we had for a hotel without a casino in its lobby was the Courtyard by Marriott, certainly a very clean, nice motel for the money, but not a luxury destination. The staff always goes out of its way to be helpful and courteous, they remember that we prefer to have the liquor taken out of the mini-bar and that we like having a small refrigerator in our room (no charge!). The linens, towels and amenities are top rate, the bellmen, housekeeping staff and engineers always go out of their way to be of service at a moment's notice. The bed and pillows are luxurious and fluffy and the room is always extraordinarily clean. We will continue to come back here again and again.

After reading the reviews here, I really wanted to experience what the others experienced. I guess because of my high expectations, the Four Seasons was just alright.

When we drove up to the hotel, there was no one there to help us. We had to drag all our luggage to the check-in. Even after checking-in, there was no one to help.

On the bright side, the fitness center and spa was amazing. There was always someone there to give you water or help you.

Would I come back? maybe if I get a great deal

I've stayed at most hotels in Vegas. The Wynn and the New Aria seem superior to the Four Seasons overall. That said, the Four Seasons is a nice quiet oasis from the wild casino's and offers good rooms and great service. EASY access to the GREAT facilities at Mandalay Bay... Great restaurants here and at Mandalay. Separate lobby is nice. Room service was also very good and rooms have what you need... except for two issues. 1) Most $500 a night rooms at other hotels have 2 sinks to allow both people to get ready at the same time. This hotel did not until you got up to specialty suites. You are always going out in Vegas, so having a bathroom built for ONE is a awkward. Second, our housekeeping was LOUD at 8AM in the hallway. NOT good for 8AM in Vegas. Loud in any language at 8AM is bad... and they used their radios too. Not very FOUR SEASONS like. Lastly, there is bit of noise from the nearby airport, depending on what side you room is on... not terrible, but mildly bothersome. Despite these comments, we probably would stay here again... if we wanted a mellow stay. For fun, THE Hotel at Mandalay are superior rooms and the Wynn caters to the Four Seasons money crowd. I feel the new Mandarin Oriental at CityCenter will top the Four Seasons SOON. As may Aria. Both look spectacular. Our next stay will be at the Mandarin Oriental to compare. Charlie Palmer steakhouse here at FS is great too. Heard spa here was good also.
