Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your stay at Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas. We are happy to hear you enjoyed your visit. As Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas is non-gaming, we assume you are referring to the gaming area at the adjacent Mandalay Bay. We are sorry the cigar smoke at the table games was disruptive, but hope you will return to Four Seasons when you next visit the city.
I have spent two nights with my family in this hotel. I booked a sunrise/sunset suite ,with my AMX centurion, which was up graded to a presidential suite "thanks & appreciated". The suite looked nicer than the pics on the website with a magnificent strip view and the airport's runway. The suite has a large setting area, large dining table, a kitchen, one and a half bath, walking closet, and a large bedroom. The hotel doesn't have a casino however you can access the Mandalay bay casino from the C floor. The breakfast buffet is excellent with verity of good quality food to choose from.
I have been staying at the Four Seasons since 2007. Typically, I spend about 8 weeks total during the year at this property. I regularly invited friends to stay with me, as well as family. Now that the recent renovations are complete, I wanted to cycle back to comment on the "new vibe". I love the entry way bar and new outdoor bar area. The feel is now more modern upon arrival. The rooms are very pretty as well.
My only negative comment is the lack of "doors" to the office area in the suites. It is difficult to conduct business and calls, with others watching TV or chatting in the living area. I wish the doors would return to the "100" suites.
There are not enough superlatives to describe the staff. The front door staff always remembers my name, the desk staff is always helpful, often offering me a very nice room. The pool staff is fantastic, as is the bar staff. I love seeing Jose in the Verandah, Georgio and Jamilla in the front bar, Szlata, Shelly, Senjana, Chanel in the pool area.
Many thanks for making me feel at home each time I return.
Thank you so much for your loyalty to Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas and for taking the time to write a review on Tripadvisor. We are thrilled to hear you love the renovations and continue to enjoy your time with us. We have also shared your kind sentiments with the team as a source of inspiration for us all!
Everything you expect from Four Seasons. Great and attentive staff. The location is great. Right next to and quick easy access to casino however not inside the casino so it is a lot quieter. The check in process unlike all the casino hotels is quick and easy. The rooms are great with nice views. The spa is nice but undergoing some renovations. Was disappointed with the quality of experience due to the renovations.
I assume that most hotels of this level are going to have nice rooms. good food and upscale amenities...but what sets a great hotel apart is how the react when you need something goes wrong and you need their help and the Four Seasons went above and beyond in that respect.
I had purchased over $500 worth of show tickets, on my own not through the hotel. Unfortunately I had purchased them for the wrong day and they were purchased through a discount broker so completely non refundable. I called the concierge not expecting anything but asking if she had any suggestions. Within a half an hour she rang the room and said she had spoken with someone at the Wynn and gotten us four comped tickets for that nights show. WOW that is customer service. My teenage son was recovering from knee surgery and in a motorized scooter the valets were so helpful getting it in and out of cabs and the house car (a gorgeous Audi that is available for your use a super great perk)
We stayed in a strip view suite and the rooms are beautiful...only negative is the Mandalay Bay Casino and hotel that it is attached to is just ok...kind of old fashioned and dingy looking and not much energy in the casino or in the restaurants. The other two casinos it is near, the Luxor and Excalibur are also pretty unexciting. If the Four Seasons were attached to the Wynn or the Cosmopolitan...I would have easily given 5 stars.
Thank you for your review of Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas. We completely agree with your sentiments that service sets a hotel apart and we are thrilled to hear that you received excellent service from our staff. We hope you will return to the hotel when you next visit Las Vegas.
The title of this review is misleading as the hotel occupies the upper floors of the Mandalay Bay Hotel which is on the Las Vegas Boulevard (The Strip). But when you are there it feels an escape from the over the top atmosphere's of the other hotels. The absence of a casino and shopping malls the biggest difference. But rest assured you don't need to go far to find those. Next door at the Mandalay Bay in fact.
Our room had great view of the mountain which I thought was the best (watching traffic on the Strip does not appeal to me). The room was a generous size, modern yet elegant, and well appointed. The staff were friendly and attentive as you would expect. For me the most impressive part of the hotel is the outdoor pool area (heated in winter). It's surrounded by palm trees and water features, with a colonial style outdoor bar area overlooking the main pool. Access is also available to the next door Mandalay Bay water park complete with beach and wave pool, although we didn't use it. The indoor/outdoor bar serves great cocktails and at night we sat out doors around open gas fire pits (it was December).
Beware that there is a decent walk to get to the rooms from the lobby area as you need to walk through a passage that take you into the Mandalay Bay building where the elevators are. We didn't find it a problem. Parking is free at the Mandalay Bay parking building. It's a 5-10 minute walk to get access. I was happy to do that rather than use the valet service.
We were happy we chose to stay there and wish it could have been longer.
