“Great to be back”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 30, 2013

Ten years ago my husband and I married in Las Vegas and stayed at the Four Seasons in the Mandalay Bay. We didn't get to see much then. So we returned to the same hotel for our 10th anniversary. We had a suite. The room was beautiful and very spacious. Comfortable in every way. Our hotel was superb. They greeted us with fruit and bottled water. It was quiet when we wanted and when excitement and noise was wanted the casino was right there. Lots of great restaurants and shopping, too. Room service for breakfast was the best ever. Everything was hot! And Good. We really explored the strip this trip. We will probably always stay at the Four Seasons.

Room Tip: I doubt there is a bad room. Choose strip view or valley view.

I spent one night at this hotel and can say that it is a solid five star hotel through and through. I did not use the pool or other amenities but the reception and room were perfect. No shortcomings or disappointments. I prefer this hotel because there is no casino/gaming area to wade through to get to the hotel. Here the valet takes your car, you walk into the lobby and then right up to your room. I did eat at Veranda, the hotel restaurant and had a great breakfast sitting outdoors. I would highly recommend this hotel to others wishing this type of arrangement.

I cannot praise this hotel enough. We have previously stayed at the Stardust, New York New York, Treasure Island and the Bellagio but the Four Seasons beats them all hands down.
I recently spent four nights here on a trip with my sister-in-law. From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty. From check-in to check-out all staff were fantastic, helpful, polite and perfect. Special mention should go to housekeeping and Charles on the door.
Our room was large with 2 beds as requested and was absolutely spotless. The beds were so comfortable we didn't want to leave them. The TV was huge and we had everything we could possibly require for our stay. Slippers were delivered to our room on request. The shower was wonderful and the separate toilet was ideal. Our housekeeper even folded our clothes and nicely arranged our toiletries in the bathroom for us. Towels were changed twice a day.
I was a little concerned that about the hotel's location at the end of the strip but needn't have worried. In fact, it was nice to get back to a little piece of quiet at the end of the day. When we wanted to go out we either got the public bus (we got a three day pass for 20 dollars) or we took the free tram from the Mandalay Bay to Excalibur, walked over the bridge to New York, New York and we were right in the hub of the Strip.
We used the secret door to get to Mandalay Bay from our private elevators. We had the buffet breakfast at Mandalay Bay and it was superb and good value. We ate an evening meal at House of Blues and this was also very tasty and good value. We also ate at Outback Steakhouse on the Strip.
We did not visit the pools as we ran out of time but they looked very inviting.
We shopped at both Premium Outlets (North and South) and the Fashion Mall opposite The Venetian where Macys had a great sale.
We also saw Rod Stewart at Caesar's Palace and the Michael Jackson One Cirque de Soleil at Mandalay Bay. Both were excellent and well worth the money. A trip to see Big Elvis (free) at Harrahs is also always a must.
In short we had an absolutely fantastic time at the Four Seasons and we both cannot wait to return.

Room Tip: Asked for a quiet room

With so many Hotels to select from in Las Vegas, it really depends on your intentions. This is a typical 5 star Hotel and is certainly more peaceful than others on the Strip. If you want the noise and Casinos there is a discrete entrance from one of the floors using your room key into the Mandalay Bay complex. The Hotel is located at the end of the strip opposite the airport but no aircraft noise. Excellent service, especially the Concierge and reasonable restaurants. I can’t think of anything that let it down

Very nice hotel. I was there for a work conference and have never been to Vegas. If you are there to see the well-known sights on the Strip, it's on the far edge and requires a lot of walking, trains, cab, etc. to get up the strip to some of the well known casinos (Caesars, Bellagio, and others further north).

Perfect in every way! When you are done w/ the smoke filled casinos you can escape here. Since the hotel is located in the Mandalay Bay you have access to all the great things the resort has to offer. The Charlie Palmer Steakhouse in the Four Seasons is also a must. This is our second time in this hotel and will not be our last! Oh, and the best are ultra comfy too!

If you have a need to "do" Las Vegas for no other reason than it's on the bucket list then this might just be the place to stay. In the madness that is Las Vegas The a Four Seasons is an oasis of calm. Sitting in the same complex as The Mandalay and The Hotel it does seem a world away from the football pitch size casinos and manic American's drinking openly on the street. Yes apparently Las Vegas is one of the few places this can be done without breaking the law. The service was impeccable. Tom at reception was a delight and on hearing we were on our honeymoon we were offered an upgrade to a suite at a very reasonable rate per night. It made our stay. After one night on the strip we barely ventured out go the hotel. The suite was sensational the service attentive but not overly so. We ate in the Itslian restaurant which was excellent. No complaints at all. Tip for European visitors. Order one portion and share otherwise you'll end up like a whale!!!

Room Tip: The higher the better we were on the 37th floor
