The service was excellent. The location was great. Thirteen nights of perfection! Christmas and New Year in Las Vegas was a really good time. The food at the Veranda was good and Charlie Parkers was good as well.

The reason being that ( I believe) it's five floors that have been taken over from the Mandalay Bay. There is no gambling , which ones make it unique. The room I had on the 36th floor was superb. Large, clean with wonderful bathroom facilities. I also appreciated the turn down service finding the shirts I threw on a chair neatly folded. Whether one is in Vegas for business or pleasure it is what it is . Somehow, this property gets one away from the hustle and bustle and gives one a little normality.
I really enjoyed my stay.

hotels.

This is not really a Four Seasons....it is the top 5 floors of Mandalay Bay and it is nothing more than some nicely renovated hotel rooms atop an awful complex. I stay here for a trade show at Mandalay, but it is the ONLY reason to stay here. The restaurants are horrible, the pool is tiny and not luxury at all, the casino is rundown, and the place is very poorly managed. If you don't have to be there for some compelling reason, there are 5 or 6 LV hotels that are far more luxurious and the price is equal or better. It is a sad commentary that Four Seasons associates its fine name and reputation with such a poor establishment. This is more like a 3 1/2 star hotel...not 5 stars. They try hard, but does it compare to Wynn, Bellagio, Mandarin---not a chance.

Room tip: The hallways are very long. Ask for a room in close proximity to the elevator.

This is, in my opinion, the best place to stay in Las Vegas! There is no smoky casino, the front desk personnel is splendid, the hotel is attractive, clean and friendly . The atmosphere is relaxing, too. The steak house is an excellent restaurant. I am SO glad that we stayed here. I am completely satisfied with this hotel and will make a point to stay here whenever I come to Las Vegas. It is restful and attractive, and the acces to the waterpark made it especially fun, too. Thanks!

Room tip: Any room is a good room!

If you want to be in Las Vegas, but hate the constant sound of Casinos and buffets, this is the way to go. You can get away from the Vegas vibe and relax and unwind in a first class hotel, and when you are ready to get back to the casino, you can just walk down the hall to the Mandalay Bay. The pool is quiet and lovely - a handsome man with an ice bucket and tongs was handing out frozen mini-snickers bars on a hot day, and a woman spritzed us with evian water when we got too warm. How's THAT for luxury? A classy Four Seasons hotel in the heart of Las Vegas.
