“WOW Factor-North to South Strip View”
Reviewed June 9, 2014

I had a studio suite on the 37th floor of the Palms Place for five glorious days and I loved every minute. The north to south strip view is unparalleled--I never grew tired of looking at it, day or night!!! The suite was well appointed and very comfortable--a big space for a solo traveler. There was no housekeeping, so to speak, but I am neat so it didn't bother me.

Palms Place is quiet and low-key--I never saw other people on my floor (or housekeeping or room service). There is a walkway to the Palms Hotel and Casino, with a lively casino, food court, a movie theatre, and a swinging pool scene. The shuttle to Caesar's was great, with very nice drivers who gave me good tips on where to eat and hang out.

The buffet was pleasant and there is a nice discount if you have a Palm's Card ($6.99 for breakfast is a very good deal).

There was a good choice of slots-loved the Godfather and Clue slots!!

All staff I encountered were nice and helpful. I had a minor problem with my safe one night and security came quickly to assist. This place is very safe and great for solo travelers.

Overall, this was an enjoyable experience at reasonable prices, and a good base to explore all the wonders and insanity of Las Vegas.

Room Tip: A corner room on a high floor (37-57) is the way to go.

Stayed for mastermind conference. This new tower is attached to regular plans hotel and casino. This palm place is more upscale we stayed in 1 bdroom. Suitw 850 sqr feet. W fire place full kitchen and washer dryer and fridge. Amazing views well worth the consideration. There is also an inside walking moterized path to the plans casion and free shuttle to ceasars. It is off strip but one of the better 4.5 star suite for the money.also nine resteraunt is one of the best in vegas. Simons also locat there. Awesome place and a great surprise. Note palm place is different than palm hotel.

After travelling all day.We arrived at midnight only to hear that our room was not ready yet. REALLY?? It's midnight. Joshua ( the front desk guy ) was just as discusted. He gave us complimentary drink and spa tickets. He assured us that our room would be ready in an hour. Off to the casino bar we go. We grab a drink and relax a bit. An hour and a half later my husband went looking for a manager. He finds Lisa the floor manager. After listening to our story she jumps into action. There were 6 other couples in the same boat as us. We finally were given a room. Not the greatest but it has a bed. Now it's 2:30 am. 8:00 am a knock on the door. Cleaning lady !! REALLY!!!!! You can't make this stuff up !!! Later that day we see Joshua, he suggested we can swich rooms. We did so with such a suprise! We were set up in a condo. This place was beatiful!!! We stayed an extra day for 89.00 a night. Such a deal!! We will be back to the Palms West. We usually stay at the Venetian but, this place won us over. Than You to Joshua and Lisa. Good Job !!

Room Tip: Corner suites are huge and roomy!!

My brother and I each booked our own suites. Upon arrival, the hotel had a modern sexy decor. We were accommodated with suites that were next door to each other on the 35th floor. The room was large and nicely decorated. The bathroom had a w/c, a single vanity with a small flat screen tv and a large glassed in shower. Also in the same glassed in area was a massive tub with jets. The main room contained a small kitchen with a stocked mini fridge, a stove, microwave, sink and dishwasher. The king sized bed was comfortable with a nice view of 2 large flat screens. The 2nd flat screen was in front of a living room area with a large wraparound couch and coffee table. The balcony had a chair and ottoman to enjoy the view. Overall the room was nice although we ran into a few hiccups. The internet service was non existent or it was so slow that it might as well been. When we voiced concern, we were told to take our complaint to Twitter (?). I found this strange but that's what we did and someone responded almost immediately. Nothing could be done about the internet but they comped our resort fees. On our final day, there was some sort of construction happening on the floors above us. It sounded like someone was using a jackhammer on the very next floor. We were assured the noise would stop by 5 PM and by the time we returned to our rooms that evening, it had ceased. Overall, the hotel is a nice non-gaming option away from the Strip. With the moving platform walkway entrance into the Palms Casino, you're never far away from the action but far enough away to not have to deal with the riff raff. If you like steak, check out N9ne in the Palms!

Room Tip: Ask for a room on a higher floor for a great view of the entire strip

Hubby and I did a staycation at this hotel. Hotel has a very hip atmosphere. Not thrilled with parking arrangements (valet only). Although the room was quite spacious and modern, we noticed cracks on the shelves and water strip in shower was already lifting (preventing the shower door from closing all the way). We had to tell the front desk that it was how we found the room to prevent being charged for the damage. We were also disappointed that they place a huge hold on your credit card upon check-in if you're a local. Felt like our patronage is not welcome here.

The room was great, very modern. Lots of space, nice bathroom, very comfortable bed, nice balcony and view. The pool area was nice and quiet, good if you want to relax in the sun. The spa and fitness facilities were superb.

We loved the room! Huge, Clean, stocked with everything we could possibly need. Perfect for us! Housekeeping went above and beyond! We were very happy with everything about the room. The walk way to the casino is a breeze! We had a ball in the casino, loved the Palms Place pool and enjoyed the food. We will choose the Palms again!
