I have family who live in VEgas who love sushi just as much as I do. They brought me to this small restaurant located in a strip mall raving about the excellent quality of the food.

Although I had high expectations, the food and services surpassed my expectations. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the sushi chef telling us about the food, where it came from, how he prepared it, how best to enjoy eating it. There were a number of live items on the menu which we enjoyed (shrimp, scallops).
My favorite things were the live scallops, chutoro, and scottish salmon, but everything was great. Prices were reasonable and the service was really good, attentive, humorous.

We had a great time and I would reccomend it to anyone who loves excellent sushi at a reasonable price.

Thank diverguy

After living on an island where you can catch fish and eat it right on the boat, I look for places with great sashimi and sushi. I finally found that in this restaurant, and I am addicted to their menu!

Not only are the staff friendly and very attentive, but the sushi and sashimi are better than what I've experienced in several hotels on the strip. Their prices are below the other off strip sushi bars by two to three dollars for the special fish like yellow tail and Toro. Their korean food is also much better than the restaurants on Spring Mountain!

But what sets this place apart from the others is the service and the cuts of fish. Most sushi bars have nice looking fish, but you haven't seen or tasted fresh produce until you've tried this place! Their tuna, salmon, large clam, toro, and yellow tail are my favorites! Their cuts are thick and they melt in your mouth. They are also the only ones that I know of that serve flying fish roe. It's soooo good!

You have to give this place a try. The modern furnishings are not a giveaway as to the quality or types of sushi you can eat here. Although the menu looks the same as the others you may eat around town, their quality is what sets them apart.

If you're looking for fast sushi that's just okay, then go somewhere else, because this chef puts love into every dish he serves. I watched him last night plating our giant clam sashimi, carving the vegetable and placing the right palette pleasers to adorn the clam. His dishes are as clean and beautiful as the ones served to me at Nobu, if not better. He even knows how to change the flavors by grilling or mixing ponzu or rokio (picked small onions) with the dish. His genius should be in the hotel, but his love of food and passion to deliver his way brought about his desire to buy this sushi bar.

Try it to experience the tastes and travel to Japan through his knife work and menu. It's as close to home for me as any other sushi bar I've been to, and I've been to twelve in the past six months.

My search is over. I'm home.
