“Mellow, upscale all-suite resort. Great vacation!”
Reviewed October 16, 2012

The Palazzo is an all suite resort that’s part of the Venetian resort. The Palazzo has separate facilitates from Venetian, but shares the Canyon Ranch Spa and a shopping mall. Grand and posh, the Palazzo is a great, upscale, mellow resort. Not as crowded as Venetian or other resorts but in a good location on the strip. We were upgraded to a 1200 sq foot suite that included a dining room, living room, workout room, bed and spacious bath. Almost as roomy as our home. A few tips: Food options in the hotel and mall are bountiful and decent. Recommendations – Solara Poolside, Grand Lux, I Love Burgers and Trattoria Reggiano. Not recommended: Lagasse’s Stadium. Pool gets crowded early and seats are limited. Pool staff does a good job monitoring seat-savers and enforces a 30 min limit on ‘saving.’ There is a Walgreen out front of the resort that sells water, food, beer, wine that is significantly cheaper than buying in-house. If you are looking for a wild, party casino scene, this is not the place. If you’re looking for a top quality resort in the heart of Vegas, this is it.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the Pool have a good view of the strip; the other side of the resort looks out tow...

Dear Guest,

Thank you for choosing to stay at The Venetian | The Palazzo. I am glad that you enjoyed the upgrade to the opulent larger suite. Our standard is a suite and we not only provide the largest standard accommodations on the Las Vegas strip, but as you pointed out The Venetian | The Palazzo has some of the best amenities.

Thank you for the detailed dining recommendations that you provided for your fellow travelers. With over thirty restaurants and nine James Beard award winning chefs, The Venetian | The Palazzo truly combine to create the unrivaled culinary capital of the world. The restaurants you mentioned bring back culinary memories of my own and I am pleased that you have such fond feelings for them as well.

I am pleased that you enjoyed your trip and I look forward to the honor of serving you on each and every future trip to Las Vegas.

Kind Regards,

The rooms are perfect for a bachelorette party. We got 2 queen connecting rooms. Each room had a pull out sofa bed which was nice but we didn't use it. Went to Tao Beach during the day and it was awesome.

Comfy beds!

We stayed here for 5 nights in Sept while we were here in Vegas to get married.
This was our first trip to Las Vegas and so i had read alot of reviews and read the tips re the $20 trick in your passport, upon check in which was was quick i told the clerk we were here to get married and it was our first time to Vegas and was there any chance of a comp upgrade to a larger suite,i was told the hotel was almost full but he would see what he could do we were offered a upgrade to a Bella Suite on the 42nd floor with a strip view for free(usually charge you $45 per night for this) which we took..at this time i had not put $20 in my passport as thought id try my luck first but i did end up tippin the clerk the $20 anyway so maybe you can sometimes get free upgrades guess it all depends on how you ask..or just try the $20 trick!
As for the Suite it was very large very comfy with fab views across to the mountains..TI and along the Strip and Pools below we had 2 large beds,a sunken lounge 3 tv's and a large bathroom the suite really was stunning. The hotel is large but never really felt as busy as some of the others on the strip. The hotel is connected to its sister hotel the Venetian so you can use both hotels shops, pools and restaurants we eat at grand Lux had the buffet breakfast which was good and there is a food hall in the Venetian and also a Walgreens . The hotel is in a great location on the strip we would definitely stay here again no question and if you go to Vegas a must do is Fremont St its a fab night out not to be missed..Loved Vegas Loved The Palazzo felt like a Princess on my Wedding day cant wait to Return.

Suite was beautifully decorated and very spacious. The remote control shades were great. We had a wonderful view of the strip. Great service...beautiful grounds, pools, shops & casino. Spa & common grounds shared with the Venetian. Great location and the valet was always fast . They stored our luggage as we had a late flight out & we were able to enjoy the spa & pool & hot tubs till our departure.

Room Tip: View was great from 37th floor.

I've traveled to Vegas many times and stayed in many different hotels and this is one of the nicest rooms I have encountered in the city. I am not a gambler so I've never been comped a room at a hotel. I pay for where I stay. I chose this hotel because of the beautiful pictures I saw on line. The room was absolutely gorgeous. While the view was not of the strip (not necessarily a bad thing), it was nice nonetheless. The bathroom was very well appointed and beautiful in it's own right. With the amazing tub, flatscreen TV, separate water closet and dual sinks, it was larger than some hotel rooms on it's own. I was able to book this hotel at a great rate to try it out, and if the opportunity presents itself again to be able to stay here, I would do it every time.

The following may seem critical in places but it is just honest. The important thing is that at the end of the day we would not consider going back to any other hotel in Vegas.
My wife and I stayed here for five nights as part of a special birthday and wedding anniversary celebrations. Moved here after staying in San Francisco. Nothing could be more different from the small friendly hotel in San Fran to everything that the Palazzo is. No help with luggage on arrival in taxi. Did not wait too long for check-in. Receptionist did her job efficiently but refused upgrade despite our celebrations, it being a Sunday and we were there for the five nights. Rooms were available but she asked for $45 a night. Although not told about, note that Palazzo has introduced $20 a day resort fee although in fairness you do seem to get something for your money. Perhaps should have tried the Las Vegas check-in with $20 in the passport. Anyway, like other hotels, the lifts (elevators to the strangers) are through the casino and it was good to see that you had to show a key card to get pass security. Room was on 11th floor - ordinary people stay on lower 22 floors - but what a room. Bed was huge, soft and comfortable. Bathroom was fully tiled, twin sinks, large bath and shower cubicle - nice touch was the dressing table with make-up light. Sunken living room had large L-shaped sofa with views over lower part of the Strip.Three flat screen tvs throughout suite was unusual but welcomed. Caution - unless you intend to use the room bar, open it, admire it and close it once. We found that if you shake it, you get charged at check-out.
Room was serviced daily and although always adequate we found noticeable differences in the standards depending on who cleaned your room. Also found that some staff spoke more readily than others - we are 'hello' people to those we pass in corridors.
Must say that we were surprised in the casino at the availability of what we would call reasonable tables starting at $10 throughout the day - perhaps a sign of the times. Cannot say too much as only played a few hundred dollars on slots and blackjack, lost of course. Did sign up for inhouse Grazie card but not too sure what purpose it serves if you are not a big spender.
During the week we asked about a later check-out but were asked for $50 to stay to 1.00pm - check-out is 11.00am. Eventually agreed to noon for no charge.
Would we go back? Of course we would. Palazzo/Venetian are both great hotels and that end of the Strip is just 'nicer' than the busy and slightly mad far end.For comparisons, we stayed in the Bellagio last year and while it scored in some areas, the Palazzo wiped it in most.

Room Tip: You could always try $20 in the passport - a smile, a birthday and a wedding anniversary did not wor...

Stayed for a long weekend to celebrate a 50th birthday. We upgrade to the larger Siena suite with the prestige package/lounge. The prestige lounge is worth the price and makes for a well cared for experience. Too much included in the prestige lounge to list here but spelled out on the website. The rock spa and gym are excellent. Took 2 classes at the gym and could have climbed the rock wall if time would have permitted. Would go back!
