I stayed here for a 40th birthday party for a relative and I must say that the room is really nice. I ended up paying roughly $250/night to stay here. I gambled quite a bit and when I asked about comps, they removed one charge for the resort fee (total BS fee if you ask me). Besides this, Cut is a great restaurant if you want to spend the money for a great steak. If you like to shop, there are plenty of places to shop. One thing that I was not keen on was having to show my room key every time I went to my room. Maybe the first time for security purposes, but every time? Anyway the rooms get a 5 and everything else a 1 to average my 3.

We stayed here to take advantage of the sleeper sofa in the living room, the easy access to top nightclubs, and the affordable rates.

We also comparison-shopped the Aria, Cosmopolitan, Bellagio, and Wynn. The Palazzo turned out to have the largest rooms and the easiest means of accommodating six guys in two rooms without breaking the bank. We got two adjoining Bella (2 queens) Suites and some amenities. Everyone had their own bed, though the fold-out sleeper sofa is not a queen-size and you'd be hard-pressed to sleep two in it. We didn't choose the Prestige level because it just didn't look like good value.

We had no problems at check-in, or with extra keys. While Sushisamba and Morels were disappointing, the hotel VIP passes to Lavo worked smoothly and we had a great time there. The resident DJ was great. The chairs in the sports book are comfy, and the staff friendly, especially toward first-time bettors who are still learning.

Strip-view rooms meant that we were looking at Treasure Island and the Mirage. I don't know if it would be worth it to pay extra for that view, or for a high floor.

Yes, the walks are long from point A to point B. It's a large hotel, as are the rest of the properties on the Strip. The casino was mercifully small in comparison to the Wynn or others.

We also visited friends in rooms at TI and PH, and the drop-off in room quality is precipitous. We're glad we paid a little extra. We're also glad we paid to stay at a happening location rather than the lifeless Vdara or Trump.

Negatives:
1. Housekeeping never replaced our little toiletry bottles, and they ran low. That feels like nickel-and-dime-ing for a five-star hotel.
2. The pool is nice, but you had to get there early to get seats. Often rows of seats would be "reserved" with nothing more than towels, their owners nowhere in sight. That wasn't so great. The Palazzo poools were definitely nicer than the Venetian pool, which had a thin layer of grease on the surface on a weekend. There are about five pools to choose from, each with a different "scene."

Overall, we would stay here again. Good value, nice hotel.

They do a wonderful job of airing out smoke from the casinos as compared to other resorts. The variety of pools allows you to find your own relaxing spot away from crowds/kids, if desired. It would have been nice to have more bar staff roaming around, though. We tried the $20 trick at check-in and believe it helped us to check-in 3 hours early and get a quiet room at the end of a hallway, Strip view, on the 40th floor. Great stay. Loved the suites!

Room Tip: Higher floor, farther down the hall

I have stayed at Palazzo a few times over the years ans I think they really try to keep the property up. Some reviewers state its starting to show its wear, but I don't find that at all. The carpeting in hallways and in room were in perfect shape. Yes some of the drawers, etc. had little dings on it but that is to be expected from any hotel, since many people are rough and not caring for thier surroundings. The rooms them self were clean, large, nice and quiet. On the outside of my room in hallways there would be sometimes loud people etc. and once my door was shut I heard nothing or very little. I heaqrd nothing from units next to me. Once again I think the rooms are very very good and would rate them alone a 5 out of 5.

There are no coffee makers, as many hotels in vegas!
Bathroom, water pressure, toiletries were all very nice.
Bed very nice, pillows nice
Good selection of tv channels
hotel very large and very busy
casino very busy, but the palazzo is much slower pace than the venitian which is a short walk to get to
food choices very nice but very expensive in most part.
location is nice but still to me nothing beats the harrhas location for hotel bopping (a short distance away, probally 10 minute walk)
I would have no problem staying there again its wonderful, although sometimes a little to large for me.
I am getting a little tired of casino hotel having young nightlife, clubs. To me it takes away fromt he old vegas feel, less people gaming more people clubbing.
They next drwback to that is all the younger clientelle (some of them) making lots of noise, screaming and carrying on. The outfits on some oft he girls is wow also, hard to tell between call girls and regular ladies (seriously)
All in all I think next time I will stay at a smaller hotel or even maybe on eoff the strip, but once again the palazzo is awesome and I was treated well, and when requesting anything the service was prompt and fiendly!

We have stayed at the Palazzo 3 times now and each trip it gets better. We were treated exteremely well. The Presitge level was great. Jose the at Presitge was especially wonderful . Our room was extraordinary and beautiful. The pool situation was very nice as families tended to gather at the larger pool and couples at the smaller ones. Drink service in the casino was very timely. Our spa day at the Canyon Ranch Spa was memorable. The only negative is the room door situation. Sometimes if your neighbors are not aware ,the door can slam due to heavy spring loaded closer. The Doors keep this from a 5 star report

We got a decent rate at The Palazzo and chose this property. The rooms are decent, but as a couple looking to have fun, we ended up going to the Cosmopolitan a lot. Our friends stayed there too and I liked the contemporary rooms and younger crowd there. In general, I prefer boutique hotels and I know that is hard to find in Vegas. The Palazzo is too big for my taste. The walk to the casinos and dining is far. The pool is nice, but it gets overly crowded so go early for prime seating. The scene at Tao Beach is better than the pool at the Palazzo. Overall, it's a nice hotel, but not recommended for people under 40.

This was an amazing hotel with top customer service and all the luxuries you could want. We stayed in the Bella suite on the 42nd floor and had an amazing view. The suite had 3 tv's and was fabulously decorated. The Palazzo also offers you all the luxuries of the Venetian as well so you are really getting two resorts for the price of one! Amazing pools and wonderful selection of restaurants! Oh and the beds were super comfy!
