“Nice place for lunch”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 29, 2011

We had a nice lunch here. Loved the yellowtail collar which my husband ordered. I had the Korean BBQ bento box which was mostly good minus the lackluster egg roll. The spider roll which we shared was good. The a la carte sushi ordered by my husband was standard sushi fare. The music in the dining room was atrocious, though.

“Fantastic Sushi Roll Creations!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 10, 2011

This place was recommended by the hotel I was staying in. The menu is extensive and the quality of the food is upscale. The chef's creativity is simply brilliant. The ambiance is a no frills type of place but it does have a certain charm. Compared to the high end sushi restaurants in the casinos this place is definitely on par for quality and no where near as expensive.

“Decent food, but could improve service”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 24, 2010

I stopped by and ordered the sashimi plate for lunch. Everything was very tasty! The restaurant was also very clean and overall appealing. It seemed nearly impossible to get the waitress's attention, however. I wanted to order a second plate, but the one waitress seemed to be spending a lot of time in the kitchen and, when she came out, she took plates from the chef to the tables and then went back into the kitchen. The restaurant was not crowded either -- twenty customers at 2:00 pm. In the end, I gave up wanting to order more and began wondering how to get my check. In the end, I waited until the waitress came out of the kitchen and then stood up so I was harder to ignore.

They either need to hire a second waitress for the afternoons, or get a more efficient one.

“Excellent and adventurous specialty rolls. Perhaps a bit pricey, but most decent sushi is these days.”
