Plainly, this tour was the best one I've taken in all of my years of traveling. Initially, the tour guides, Alfonso and Julio, were very conciliatory and knowledgeable. They made sure that everybody in our tour received the same information even if it meant repeating themselves over. Additionally, they stopped in various areas in order to broaden our experience. Throughout our tour, we stopped at mcDonald's for a pre-paid breakfast, Lake Mead, the Hoover Dam, the historic Route 66, and an unplanned photo-stop at the Flintstones-themed Bedrock Cafe. Also, during the walk about the canyon, one of the tour guides carried a cooled backpack stocked with food and plenty of water bottles.
Unquestionably, the Grand Canyon itself was picturesque and the walking tour itself was not as tedious as people make it out to be. If one has survived the heat of Las Vegas, one will believe the canyon is a cooler. The only arduous part of the walk was walking up the hill. As an all-day tour, I suggest bringing a charged camera, walking shoes, and light clothing. Personally, I truly enjoyed it and would recommend it to anybody of any age.
