I did quite a bit of research before selecting Grand Adventure Tours and I definitely choose the right one. We were a party of 5 and there was only 1 other couple on our tour - so we had 7 people in a 15 person van - lots of extra room! Also - we were fortunate enough to get not 1, but 2 AMAZING tour guides. Robert - who was still in training - was crazy energetic, funny, enthusiastic and willing to do whatever it took to keep us happy. Tracy was full of incredible history and knowledge about every part of our 4 hour ride. She shared so much knowledge and definitely kept our trip fun and interesting. The 4 hour ride just flew by. We did the sunset tour and even the 3 teenage boys had a great time. Rob took amazing pictures for us and always offered to take more - he really wanted us to get the perfect pictures and you could tell that it was really important to him! Overall - an amazing trip and an amazing sunset. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a great experience!

OMG. What a tour!!! Our guide was AMAZING ALFONSO. It was aamazing from start to finish. He is funny, super knowledgeable and will make you feel like you know him for ages. My phone battery died long before the tour was over and ALFONSO took so many pictures on his own phone and sent it to me immediately. I really loved the whole tour and the best part was ALFONSO and how he made us all felt as all the passengers were from all walks of lives and 7 of us toured the canyon as a family....

We were picked up from our hotel by our tour guide Alfonso. He made a long journey seem a lot shorter, he was such a nice man and very informative. We stopped 3 times on our way to the Grand Canyon which broke up the journey also. We stopped at the hoover dam where Alfonso made sure we were all covered with sun screen, he knew so much about every detail and made the information fun.
Once at the Grand Canyon Alfonso knew exactly where to go for the best photos, he even took photos from his own camera and forwarded them on. Sunset on the Grand Canyon was magical, I am sure their is no better time to go.
If anyone is considering taking a trip to the Grand Canyon I would recommend sunset tours and would highly recommend they try to book with Alfonso

What a fantastic tour. I chose this tour after reading all the wonderful reviews, I even asked for Alfonzo to be our tour guide and we were not disappointed. Alfonzo is a fabulous tour guide, he tells you the history of Hover Dam, Route 66 and Grand Canyon and is an amazing photographer.
It’s a long day and drive but it really didn’t feel that long. Probably because we enjoyed every minute. We have been to the west side of the Canyon previously but the South side beats it hands down. Photos don’t do it justice, you have to see it for yourself. Totally breathtaking!
