For those of us maybe a bit jaded with Vegas, this is a nice diversion, where the old Oshea's used to be between what was the Imperial Palace (now the Quad, soon to be the Linq hotel) and the Flamingo. At the end of the space is the massive Hamster's wheel.

What a great entertainment area especially if your looking to get away from the casino. Has everything you need. Shopping, restaurants, bowling (which I heard was great but there was an event going in the night we wanted to go), the High Roller, etc, etc. A must see/do while you are there.

The LINQ is like a really cool side street off the Strip. Lots of great shopping, restaurants and bars adjacent to the casinos, but with a more laid back and casual approach. They still get your money but it's a slower pace and I like that. Of course, at the end of it all is the giant wheel which everyone should do at least once, preferably at night. O'Sheas is back and adjacent for beer pong and live tunes.

Modern shopping area and an enjoyable stroll. Offers access to some of Caesars Entertainment properties. The bad side to this coin is that it impedes valet parking to the properties north of Flamingo. I liked the older days in Vegas when there was strip access to the hotels like Harrahs. While the area offers many nice shops and the new sky ride, it also created detrimental aspects to once more facilitated entrances, vehicularly. Quit over-developing this mecca.

I believe this is the little strip between The Flamingo and the Quad. At the end of this strip is the High Roller. There is a fountain in which to take pictures and absolutely beautiful artwork on the walls. Lots of little shops and restaurants. There is also a Starbucks at one end of the Linq for all those that need their coffee fix since the Quad does NOT have coffee pots in its rooms. Be prepared to pay $7 for a cup.
