“Amazing Impersonator”

Very funny show .Most voices are very close to the original.
Younger people may not know some of the characters (Sammy Davis,Frank Sinatra etc.)
Non stop full energy show at a very reasonable price. We paid $35.00 per person with the buffet included before the show. The buffet alone would have cost $18.99 that day.
If you're over 40 I would highly reccomend it.

“Funny, Funny, Funny”

Friends who recently moved to Las Vegas took me there on my last trip. The show is in an intimate theatre and has a very causal atmosphere. Gordy Brown is not only a good impersonator, but also a damn good singing voice. I thorougly enjoyed the evening.

“He's Live, he's real and He is talented funny”

Ok, maybe not THE best impressionist, but was Rich Little? Gordie keeps it to the musical favorites and will have you laughing from almost the first moment, so use the bathroom early.

His impressions are more satire of the performance and the song. His timing is excellent and he is able to switch genres fast and furious. (Think Carrot Top, but musical)

With all the flash in the pan acts out there and new ones being booked in old, revamped rooms, its nice to see real talent in a beautiful showroom.

If you have seen Fat City and the Santa Fe Horns, you are familiar with his band. Talent across the board...

The theater is intimate, don't need the front seats to see the best of the show. We were middle side and still saw it all without any issues.

About a quarter of the house was filled with regulars who see his show every-time they are in Vegas. They want to see what he changed. So apparently he does keep it fresh.

Not for children or people sensitive to their songs. He does make fun of your favorite song or musician. I will never listen to Kenny Rogers the same way again! and that's Ok...

The great thing is that he gives you a reason to go downtown! Go see His show!

“Don't buy tickets at full price!”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 7, 2012

My wife and me thought we would take in a show while in downtown Las Vegas so opted in for the Gordie Brown Show at the Golden Nugget on Fremont. We stopped into Tix4Tonight and was offered 2 VIP tickets to this show (within the first 4 rows) for a total price of about $80 for the pair of us which seemed quite good considering at the ticket booth (door) it was about $75 per person.
Gordie Brown is definitely not the best impersonator when it comes to singing but his "stand-up" dialogue is pretty spot-on with the actors he conveyed. If singing most of his songs (about half of the show) in his voice but changing the lyrics to comedic styling is an impersonation then slap me silly ... I will be wrong. Just because you change the words in a song and change your voice (a little) and pretend it's the person in front of you it's not even close for the majority of what the concert should have been.
I am very glad that we didn't pay full price for these tickets. Furthermore, do not buy anything from the "bar" just outside of the showroom, we bought a small bag of gummy bears for $4 and a bottle of water for $3.

“Very Entertaining”

Gordie Brown does a wonderful job!!! How he can do so many impressions is beyond me. Great singer and good comedian. This show takes place at The Golden Nugget in a very small theatre. Not a bad seat to see a show.
