Stayed there for my sisters wedding. Refined, classy, spotelessly keen and the pool area was magnificent. If you dont mind not being on the strip, this is the place to stay in Vegas

My wife and I were going to celebrate our first marriage anniversary at the Red Rock Spa. I called the resort two weeks in advance to make an appointment for my wife and myself. I spoke with the customer service rep at the spa and the appointment was made.

I then called the spa back to add a facial for my wife and I asked for the total which came out to $405.00. The lady I was speaking with asked if I wanted to add anything else and I told her no because I was in the military and could not afford anymore.

On the day of the appointment my wife and I arrived 30 minutes early just like we were suppose to to check in. We were greeted warmly by the staff and so we proceded to check in.

My wife and I were told that we were not in the system and that there was no appointment for the two of us. We were told that Red Rock was using a new system and that we propably didn't get put into the new system. So my wife and I left and had our entire morning ruined by this event.

Was told it was "a short cab ride from the Strip" - HA! more than half an hour each way, $80 round trip! and NO ONE told us there was a FREE shuttle from the Strip we could've taken! The massages were totally incompetent (the luscious descriptions in the brochure are written by the massage oil vendor , we were told - no one teaches the staff how to administer them!) and my daughter was left forgotten in a corner by the staff, then rushed to her treatment 1/2 hour late, yet, it ended at the scheduled time and charged the full price. Maintenance of the facility was also poor, the fountains didn't work so were dry, the shower flooded the locker room, the "zen garden" is carpeted in wrinkled Astroturf, etc. Cost over $500 for the spa day and we ended up sadly frustrated. Management did NOT respond to our comment card. NEVER AGAIN.
