It's a good location a couple of miles from the Strip. The resort runs a shuttle every hour so it's easy to get to the casinos if you want to go there. It's far enough, however, that it is a totally calm place to be.

The concierge desk was a disappointment. They are so obviously on commission from these various tour operators and restaurants. They are pushy and make you take their signed cards when you go to restaurants to make sure they get the sales credit. That is not a service, it's almost as annoying as telemarketing. Upon check-in, our room was not ready and everything took forever. The room and the pool were nice though. I would have liked free wifi, but that's not available. You can hire mobile internet dongles from the front desk for $7 a day though.

Overall we had a nice week-long stay in there and I would consider going again.

We booked this 1-week stay through Interval International. We were so pleased. This resort has everything. The pools are great and there is a lazy river to float around. The place is spotlessly clean and the staff is very friendly and responsive. The elevators were always quick to come and there is plenty of parking. The only down side was the internet service setup. You have to go get a modem and install their software to access the internet. The business center charges a min. charge of $5.00 plus the timer keeps running. It took $10 just to check my e-mail. Great place though. Highly recommend it.

We stayed here just one night as we were driving home from our vacation. I usually don't like to stay in Vegas, the smoky casinos and nasty billboards are not my thing. This hotel changed my mind! It is on the south end of the strip and we had an awesome view of the strip from our third story balcony. The pools there are wonderful! There is a lazy river and a huge resort pool with a beach entry and lots of beach toys for the kids. Our one bedroom suite was shockingly big with a full kitchen and a washer/dryer combo. It was clean and new, so I wasn't afraid to let my 10 month old crawl around on the floor. There is a Dennys on site for breakfast and if you drive just 3 min north on the strip there is a huge new outdoor mall with lots of restaurants. We didn't feel like we were in Vegas, there is no casino on the property. The resort has a tropical feel to it, we felt like we were back in Maui, minus the ocean of course. I wished we could have stayed longer, we will definately be back!

We stayed here with our 3 y/o son for 8 days and really enjoyed the resort. The overall facility is amazing and won't disappoint. We reserved through a travel website and aren't time share owners, but that didn't seem to make a difference while staying.

Check-in was a breeze and was very quick. We rented a car and it was nice that this resort is litterally around the block from the rental car center. Because we had a car, you have to get a parking pass (even though I'm not sure that anyone ever checks for it since I never put my pass on the dash). This forces you to go to the concierege which is their time-share selling side. I just let them know we weren't interested and was on my way.

We rented a 1 bedroom Bora-Bora room. IT WAS HUGE!!! The amount of room was impressive, even for a time-share property. We had a full kitchen with all pots/pans/ect. We did call to get some measuring spoons though. The porch is nice, but we were looking out on a cleared lot. Not the best view, but unless you have a pool view, I don't think you are going to get a nice out side look. The bed was comfortable and the tv's were both flat screens. Bathroom had a ton of space and the steamer in the shower is great. We also had a stacked washer/dryer. Small capacity and drying took forever, but nice convience. Like most long term stay places, you don't get daily maid service. You just put your trash out into the hallway and it get's picked up. We just picked up what we needed from the maids in the hallway if we ran out of something.

We were staying in building 5 and were about as far from the pool as you can get here and it still wasn't bad at all. The main pool is great. We never had any problems finding chairs regardless of the time of day we went. The pool was opened from 8am-10pm the entire time we were there except one day. The sand beach is really great and our son loved it. You get your towels from the life guards and just have to show your room key. They also have some life vests for small kids. We didn't use it since my son has his own swimming vest. The lazy river was nice. You pay $3 to use their tubes. My only complaint is that all the waterfalls can get annoying. The lazy river was opened from 10am-8pm every day we were there except one.

We ate at Denny's once and it was fine. Denny's is the same anywhere. Service isn't great, but the food was. We didn't try Tahiti Joe's, but my friend did and said it was horrible food, prices, and service. They also have a couple of slot machines there. There is a small convience store on site as well which was pretty well stocked and had decent hours.

The work out rooms were okay at best. They have two of them and there were never anyone in them. The treadmill speeds aren't calibrated correctly and won't go very fast. Dpends on what you do. I brought this up, but it wasn't corrected while we were there. I know they have a spa there as well, but we didn't use it.

There is a large outlet mall litterally across the street from the resort. In their parking lot there is a ton of choices for restaurants and fast food it you want as well. There are also two gas stations on the corner there. They have shuttles running to the strip all day, but we never used them since we didn't have to.

Overall this was a great place and my family loved it. We would stay again. You aren't stuck going through casinos and smoke if you don't want to. They keep the facility immaculate and really did cater to anything we needed. It was a great place for our son and you can be immersed in Vegas as much or as little as want here.

This place was great! My family and I stayed at the Tahiti Resort in May for 5 days. We stayed in the room with a kitchenette and 1 bedroom. The rooms were very clean and very big (not like average hotel room). The place had a pool and a lazy river. The lazy river was $3 per tube per day. The main pool was quite big. It had little huts around it for those who like shade and plenty of chairs. It also had a little "sand beach" at one end of the pool which was where the kids played.

There wasn't free wireless in the rooms but right beside the lobby you can catch free wireless from Denny's.

The location was great...about 5 minute drive from the strip but far enough to get away from the busy strip. There was a free shuttle that would come every half hour and take you to the strip. It would drop you off at one end of the strip (near the Tropicana hotel) or you could stay on the bus and it would drop you off at the other end of the strip (near Treasure Island). The shuttles were always on time so it was very convenient. The shuttles would also take people to the local grocery store every couple of days for one hour in the morning. -That was also free.

There was a Denny's located right on the property -very handy -open 24hrs a day.
There was also a restaurant called Tahiti Joes located on the property as well. -Didn't check it out though because it seemed a bit pricey.
There are a lot of restaurants across the street (about a 5 minute walk) -restaurants like Chili's... (chain restaurants)
There is also an outlet mall across the street. (Got some good deals there)

Tahiti Village offers the guests free parking as well.

The place is a timeshare but don't worry- they do not hassle you at all to buy any time shares... not like a lot of other places I have stayed at.

Overall friendly staff and an excellent place to stay in Vegas! I would definately recommend it to anyone.

We are owners and stayed for the first time. Everything was great. We stayed in the Moorea - a little small but we didn't want to spend time in a room with a pool area like that. It was great and the kids loved the lazy river. We had a blast. Great sleep. We also had supper at Tahiti Joes - it was really really good - we enjoyed all we ordered. Pool side drinks good price for Vegas. We didn't have much dealings with the staff as we only stayed one night - but front desk seemed nice. The pool area sold us when we bought in - and it still does. It was truly great. The one great thing is that you can get away from the bells and whistles of the casinos. Also, there is a free shuttle service which goes to Tropicana and Treasure Island - I think they run every 20 min. ending about midnight.

When going to Las Vegas you hear time and time again you can only stay there 3 to 4 nights without going crazy, Tahiti Village will change your mind, one week is perfect!
We had four Bora rooms, which is a one bedroom with a full kitchen for the week. The steamer in the shower put the rooms over the top,WOW! Everyone in our group loved it. The rooms were spotless, the pools are fantastic and the staff is always there when you need anything. Not one complaint from our group of 8.
When checking in, I requested the new tower and all rooms on the same floor, this was taken care of ahead of time so check in was a breeze.
We used the barbecue area several times. It's cleaned daily and the people down there made it a party, enjoying drinks, visiting and everyone loved the place.
Tahiti Joe's delivers to your room and has full service at the pools. We had two meals and both were great. Julie the bartender was awesome, she made it fun to hang out.
Town Square across the street makes you not even care if you go down to the strip. Blue Martini is a must, best happy hour in Las Vegas 4pm-8pm!
This is one of the top 5 pools in all of Las Vegas.
Everyone in our group is still talking about the great week! Thanks again
