“A Little bit of Tahiti in LasVegas”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 6, 2014

Nice surprise :) Room was very nice and clean. Had a one bedroom with kitchen all updated recently. Nice view of the strip from room. Nice flat screen TV . Bed was actually comfortable. Staff was nice and helpful. They were in a remodeling stage so don't know how the pool was for it was closed. Wiki Wiki store wasn't to over priced. Would recommend to friends. Only thing is you need a shuttle to get to strip and Taxis are expensive $20 from the airport for only 4 miles.

It has great rooms, all employees offered a great service, our room was ready a little late but they resolve the issue rapidly. Had 2 bedroom suit full kitchen and a partial kitchen which was really convenient, very clean, shuttle service was always on time very helpful. You have the outlets right across the street and although you're very close to the strip, when you come back you can enjoy peace and tranquility away from the 24/7 hustle in the strip.

Thank you for sharing! We are delighted our accommodations and resort staff met your expectations. The suite you mention is our deluxe Royal Tahitian. At more than 1,500 square feet it includes numerous amenities for your convenience and enjoyment. We apologize for the check-in delay but are glad we could resolve the issue to your satisfaction. Our location allows you to enjoy the best of both worlds. We are close enough to the Strip for easy access to a traditional Las Vegas experience and far enough removed to allow for plenty of peace and tranquility. Thank you once again for your generous comments. We truly appreciate your highest rating and hope you will consider us again.

We went to Vegas from January 18th to the 25th and stayed at Tahiti Village. Overall, we both agree that the place was lovely and a convenient location to shopping, as well as the strip. Groceries and a discount shopping outlet are all handy and we regularly used their shuttle service to the strip. Although we didn’t have a balcony in our unit, we have thought that if we return we would ask for a balcony that faced the pool. (Some of the balconies have views that are not overly scenic – i.e. parking lots or a deserted lot.)
A restaurant recommendation we would like to make are Repete’s Bar and Grill . Repetes is within walking distance of Tahiti and although it may look more like a pub, the food is very reasonably priced and well made. My husband had the Chicken Piccatta and I had a chicken which had been baked under a brick – both were delicious. It was a handy place to go on our first night there as we hadn’t had time for grocery shopping and simply wanted to relax after the flight.

We traded our time share to stay here on our trip to Las Vegas. We had a wonderful room overlooking the pool (which no one used as it was December and 50 degrees outside) so it was pretty AND quiet. The staff was very friendly and the room was comfortable and updated with everything you needed.

The resort had a free shuttle to two of the major casinos (2 1/2 miles away) and you could get everywhere from those within a short walk. They also had a free shuttle to the grocery store. We took a day trip to the Grand Canyon and they picked us up right at the front door of the resort so we had no need to rent a car. There is a private shuttle service to the airport for a fee much cheaper than a cab.

There was no real restaurant at the resort but there was a Denny's next door if you wanted something fast and easy. We went to the strip for our dinners unless we ate leftovers in the room.

I would consider going back in the warmer weather to take advantage of the pool and outside amenities.

Room Tip: Try to get the large one bedroom.

Stayed here with my husband and baby for one week. We had a nice big room overlooking the very large swimming pool area. The room had everything that you could need and made our stay in Vegas more comfortable as a family. Definitely a plus having kitchen facilities with a small baby!
We used the swimming pool a couple of times and it was lovely with lots of space and loungers as well as lifeguards on duty. However, as it was november, the weather wasn't that warm and we were missing the promised heating of the pool so some days we couldn't use it at all.
The location was perfect close to all the buss and shops on the strip as well as walking distance to the big outlet village and shopping area with lots of nice restaurants and a wholefoods. A real shame though that the property rents out space for restaurants / bars that does not live up to any good standard of food and service. So that is for sure a big minus!!
However, it is definitely a place we will visit again, but we will go other places to eat :-)
A very well managed and neat property, something different than the bigger hotels on the strip, yet very close to everything you need.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the swimmingpool area as the ones facing the road are rather noisy!

My wife and I stayed in a bora bora suite with our daughter in a joining suite for great week. The pool being closed didn't bother us but would have been nice to relax around in the sun as the follage around the river blocked most of the sun. The room was very nice but our couch( hide a bed ) was collapsing and uncomfortable to. sit on. This would be a great place for a family with kids. We would come back for sure
