Whenever we come to Vegas we always stay at Tahiti Village and it never fails to impress! Great service, comfortable rooms and very family friendly! It's not to close to the strip but it's not to far away either! The pool is GREAT!
If you plan on staying anywhere in Las Vegas, Tahiti is super recommended

Some people can't be pleased so if you come to this location, form your own opinion. If you run into the guy listed below that gave a horrible review, run the other way so it doesn't rub off on you!!!
When I first realized where Tahiti Village was located I was disappointed...right at the end of the LAS landing strip! Was pleasantly surprised that it was off to one side and we did NOT hear the planes. It was so easy to get to and from the airport...we loved that!
This location was quiet, friendly and had things to do right on property. Concierge service was helpful multiple times and did not get too pushy trying to sell us on the time share deal. Hotel offered frew shuttle service to and from the strip which we took advantage of.
I recommend this place and look forward to staying here again!!

If you like:

TERRIBLE service, unexpected wake up calls, closed pools/hot tubs, ignorant/rude/stupid people at the front desk/concierge desk, no room choice, extremely limited show options, Tower 5 (newest building) closed for plumbing issues, aggressive/offer to fight you time share salesMEN, (the women were great), an oven door falling off, cancelled Grand Canyon tour, then a wake up call @ 6:50am the day of with a different tour waiting at the front door that wasn't mentioned or offered to us, no heat in the room (only ac in Nov), and the list goes on, then this is the place you want to stay.

If any of the above items would inconvenience you like it has us, then you may never want to come to Vegas again like us. Thank you Tahiti Village for ruining our Vegas experience.

Everything we did away from Tahiti Village was great. Anytime there was any interaction with the staff it was a total frustrating nightmare. If we could rate this crap hole as a -5 we would. Save your money, you WILL get better customer service at a Motel 6 or ANY other place for that matter. If you are a time share owner at this place, I feel sorry for you. If you are considering a time share here, RUN the other way!

Seriously, this place has been the ABSOLUTE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. I know not everyone's experience is the same. Maybe peak seasons are different. All I can share is our experience here and this is the truth.

Hopefully this will save someone reading a terrible experience. If you decide to stay here, you can't say I didn't warn you.

We stayed in a 2BR unit, which was very nicely equipped. The location is very convenient to the strip, but is a couple of miles away on Las Vegas Blvd. Each bedroom had its own king bed, and there were sleeper sofas in each room, as well. The stainless steel appliances and granite countertops were excellent. There is a washer/dryer in the larger unit. Everything is well-maintained, and it is one of the better timeshares that I have stayed in. Now for the bad news...we were in tower 5, and there was no hot water. They indicated it would be fixed, but it was not. We had to change rooms to tower 2, which was inconvenient. This prevents me from giving this a five star rating, but it is a very nice timeshare.

Room Tip: Tower 5 is the newest.

Thank you for visiting Tahiti Village. We are glad you found our accommodations and location to your liking. As you mentioned, our nearly 1,000-square foot Bora Bora unit comes with a fully stocked kitchen and private bedroom in addition to other convenient amenities. You won’t find anything like it on the Strip for the price. We apologize for the hot water issue, which arose early Monday morning and was resolved by Tuesday afternoon. We appreciate your generous rating in spite of the inconvenience, and hope you will consider us again.

We stayed for only 3 nights/4 days from a Friday to Monday.

The Good:
The property is great. Beautiful pool although because it was November, it had very short hours 10 AM until 4:30 PM so we never had a chance to use it. Hot tub was 24 hours so we used it twice.

Three adults stayed in the Bora Bora room. Isn't as large as the pictures appear yet still a lot of room.

Loved the steam shower in the room and the double sinks. We didn't use the jacuzzi tub as it didn't look as clean as I would have liked.

Kitchen contained dish washing soap and dishwasher soap plus the utilities, including salt and pepper.

The not so good:
Beds weren't "Westin" beds. The king bed mattress in the bedroom was 'so so'. No comforter or duvet, just a sheet, blanket, then a sheet. Pillows were semi flat hard.

Because we had 3 adults, we expected the one to be on the sofa bed... this is where it was bad. I have slept on at least 5 sofa beds and none were as bad as this one. It was saggy and was not made up. When we got there and were about to go out, I said let's open it up and make sure everything is there. We did, thank goodness, because all it had was a mattress cover and 2 flat sheets folded up on it. We made up the bed and found a blanket and 2 pillows in the master bedroom closet. Very uncomfortable mattress, worst ever out of my 5 experiences. They knew our flight number and time so it would have been nice if they made the sofa bed up and had it prepared.

The other thing we didn't know is they only clean/make up your room if you are there over 1 week. I'm okay with beds and towels not being made or exchanged but the lack of coffee on day one and two then on day 3 they gave us 3 coffees. Odd???

The shuttle runs every half hour to New York New York then the Mirage. Problem is if there are more people than seats, you have to wait an extra half hour, even if you were there before others. There is no numbering system so you can get there 10 minutes early and be the 3rd couple there but if others show up and get to the shuttle 1st, you are out of luck of getting a ride. This is a big issue at the Mirage later in the.

Overall, if they would improve their beds, pillows and comforters, I would rate them as a 4.8 even with the location/transportation being the only downside.

We bought ownership into Tahiti Village from a friend. We enjoy BBQ and there are BBQ in two locations with tables and frigs- the most impressive is every morning I watched them being cleaned. The busses to the strip were prompt, and only once over a week did we not fit on a bus coming back to Tahiti Village late on Saturday night- when they were running two, so the delay wasn't long. The grocery bus was great- quick and and free to the grocery store. We went to the pool every day, and were always able to find seats (not always at the lazy river). Great experience, enjoy our purchase- the only negative is even as an owner not able to take beverages other than non alcoholic to the pool. Good for couples or family. My "value" is based on beverage prices.

Room Tip: Back building is great!

Firstly let me start by saying that I have stayed at many timeshare resorts before and this is by far the best I've ever stayed. Anyone with negative comments I don't understand.

This resort has everything a person could need - washer and dryer, the beds are so comfortable, the bathrooms are huge, the grounds are spotless, the two pools are brilliant, the shuttle buses, the supermarket runs fantastic. The staff are friendly, helpful and can't do enough for you. The two restaurants on site are great and the ability to cook in your room is also great.

We were offered tickets to a show but did need to go to an RCI presentation first, but seriously, they don't make you, so not sure why people felt this way. And the 90 mins wasn't that big a deal so if you don't want cheap tickets don't do it.

Location wise, yet is away from the strip but that is a good thing. I would stay at this resort again in a heartbeat - I just wish it was located in Australia!
