“Very Nice Resort”
Reviewed May 8, 2013

I read several reviews before booking my exchange through Interval International. I was a little apprehensive because of several negative reviews but was glad I decided to stay at this property. We checked in late on Friday and was greeted by a very friendly staff member. We stayed in a Bora Bora unit that was very comfortable and I enjoyed the jacuzzi tub very much. The only issue I had was the parking. We had to park in the parking structure located behind building 5. Our room was very close to the parking structure but they only have one set of elevators and that was a LONG WAY from the parking structure. I would recommend Tahiti Village as a 5 star resort.

Room Tip: Building 5 is very nice but ask for a room closest to the elevators.

We spent six nights in a one bedroom apartment. The room ws spacious with a huge spa bath. The pool area was huge but always packed with people. The resort is a 15 minute shuttle trip south of New York New York. There was never any problems getting the shuttle bus. If there was too many people for one bus, they would always organize a second one. The desk staff were very professional and efficient. It took less than five minutes to be checked in and to be on our way to our room! The trip to red rock canyon on Tuesday's and Wednesday's is a must for people who love desert landscapes. Would highly recommend.

Room Tip: Our room was right next to the Strip. Huge amount of traffic with no noise in the room!

We stayed here for 3 nights and the room is just beautiful. We had our own kitchen area where you have plates micro fridge utensils. The rooms are also big enough. The staff is one of the friendliest that we have encountered. The pool is a must try. The one drawback is room service. Unless you are staying for a week - where they will service your room midweek, we did not get any linen or towel change. Maybe you could request it from the front desk, but we did not try that given that we will just be there for 3 nights anyways.

Somewhat far from the strip, but Target and some restos are just around 5 min drive away.

Thank you for staying at Tahiti Village. We are thrilled that you found the room beautiful, and our staff one of the friendliest that you have encountered. We appreciate your feedback. As a timeshare property most of our guests plan extended stays, so we offer cleaning service on a mid-weekly basis. This frequency can be increased on request. We hope that you will return soon!

Tahiti Village is a time share. Lovely grounds with pool and spa and a lazy river water part. Rooms are nice but over perfumed and bed linens also that can bring on allergys to some people. The place is huge. Parking near your room can be hard. Bell carts are very hard to get and they do not have them in most building. Bellman are there and work hard and are very helpful. Andrew helped us with our luggage. Check in is fast and check out is at 10am and you sign a form about check out is 10am and you understand and agree and can be charged more if you do not check out on time. There is a small convenience store and high priced. There are BBQs there that are used a lot and you might have to wait your turn to use them. A lot of people there when we were there late April. They are adding on yet. Some rooms have a balcony or patio and some look out to dirt and area to be added onto. There are more than 6 or 7 floors in each building. Our room on one wall the electrical outlets did not work. Reported it but no fix. There is a full kitchen with full size fridge and oven and microwave. Free Wi Fi now we had. There is a dennys right on sight. It is not in the heart of LV but a few miles away. Freeway is not far. They do have a shuttle and run to the grocery store and such. Make sure you get the times and what is going on each day there.

Room Tip: Ask for a first floor if you do not want the elevator but they are usually pretty booked so asking i...

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at Tahiti Village. We are glad that you found our grounds and pool area lovely. We are happy that check-in was fast, and that our bell staff was very helpful. We have two barbecue areas, one with five grills and the other with 13 for your convenience. We apologize that your service request went unanswered. We will definitely look into the reason. Your detailed review will certainly be valuable for those planning to stay with us. We hope you will return soon!

You have to love this place. Super clean, great rooms, beautiful grounds and really nice and helpful staff. My one complaint is with this being a "resort" and the pool being closed at 8 at night. We like to swim late and a lot of other people we spoke to did not like the early closing time either. I understand not wanting life guards there that late, so put up some "swim at your own risk" signs. Other than that, I would return here in a minute!

Thank you for staying at Tahiti Village. We are delighted that you loved our resort. We appreciate your kind remarks about our accommodations and amenities. Our pool is open later than the standard Las Vegas resort. Spring hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Summer pool hours are 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. and begin next week. Local regulations require that lifeguards must be present whenever our pool and Lazy River attraction are open to swimmers. We appreciate your feedback and hope you will return soon!

Great resort, location. I wished I had been in a position to buy but I wasn't. Far as I can see of other reviews, people purchase when they can't afford it. That's really your problem, not the companies. I would never commit to anything when I or my partner had lost their job! Really, I mean have some sense!

This resort is awesome, saw it on my way to the outlets store across the street and it seemed like a tropical paradise from the street. The whole lobby smelled of coconuts and have you the feel that you were actually standing in the lobby of some far off Tropical Paradise.
The staff are all awesome and were very pleasant to deal with, there's a store on the property, a Denny's and a Hotel restaurant adjacent to the resort, the outlet store is right across the parking garage and the grounds are magnificent!
The rooms are to die for! Private bedroom with a fully stocked kitchen, living room, flat screen tv's, patio, steam showers and jacuzzi style tub! I was in heaven and was in the room relaxing half my stay!
I would definitely suggest this to anyone traveling to Vegas, it's on the far end of the strip away from all the action but the peace and serenity you get upon entering your room is priceless!
Only drawback to my stay was the family next door with the screaming kids all hour of the day and night, luckily for me they left the following day. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
