Agree with other reviewers on some points: nice atmosphere (although I thought it to be a little noisy for an upscale place), expensive and mostly a la carte. Food was good especially the calamari appetizer done differently. Server really made herself scarce, although I guess that's better than constantly hovering.
So why 3 stars? I think the staff could do the guests a favor by advising them of the portion size. However, they do have a case in the front of the restaurant that shows the steaks and lobster but not all the rest! The portion size of all the food is HUGE! Now, I'm not a person who eats like a bird but two people could split everything and be very satisfied! In fact, a couple close by did just that. Too bad they weren't there before us so we could have benefitted from their approach to a massive meal. The lettuce wedge salad was at least a half head of lettuce while the spinach and salami salad was in a large pasta bowl. We assumed normal portions and when we learned differently, we cancelled the brussels sprouts. Crab legs were good.
If I go back, I will share.
