Im not a big fan of Chinese food, but this place was nice and luxury and romantic and the food was good. In turms of the price I guess it is little too pricy.

We booked Wing Lei as we are both vegetarian and wanted to see what the Wynn Hotel had to offer (as Steve Wynn - the hotel's owner - is vegan and makes sure that each of his restaurants includes vegan choices). We had already had a look at the menu online (sent to us by the hotel) and were prepared for the cost (expensive) but were looking forward to a top class experience. Sadly, we were a bit disappointed. The restaurant itself is beautiful - very sumptuous and set away from the casino. We had booked a table for 7.30pm on Sunday and the restaurant was not very busy. The menu did not really match that we had read online as there were fewer choices than we were expecting (we did question this, but were told this was the complete menu for the restaurant). We placed our order - vegetarian spring rolls and dim sum - both of which were good and different/better to what you might normally get. For main course we went for vegetable chow mein, a chik'n (protein meat replacement) dish and jasmine rice. Whilst there was nothing wrong with any of it, we didn't feel that it was any better or more exciting than you might get elsewhere and so this, in our mind, meant that it was not really worth the price. And, in common with many restaurants in Vegas, the drinks are so expensive, that we limited ourselves to a beer and glass of wine. Service was good and the woman who took our order was very friendly and helpful. Sadly, however, we left disappointed by the experience.

I was a solo traveler in Vegas looking for a fairly quiet place for a nice dinner. Finally settled on Wing Lei. Took me 20 minutes to find the place buried in the bowels of the Wynn. It is a beautiful room; the decor is Vegas over-the-top, but still tasteful. I very much appreciated the successful efforts made by the staff to make this solo diner feel very welcome. The service was flawless. I truly wish the food matched the surroundings. It was perfectly good (except for the mediocre hot & sour soup) but nothing special. I have had far better Chinese food in the strip malls of suburban Washington, DC.

We did the chef's tasting menu with wine pairings. The wine was amazing and the food was fantastic. Service was great, the restaurant is a hidden gem!
