“Perfect location, Great for families.”

The good stuff:
This resort is in a perfect location, right behind the strip, away from the lights and noise. It's gated, so there is security in place for safety. There are little pools and hot tubs in the middle of every block of housing, with a main pool at the clubhouse. The unit that we stayed in (Building 9, room 301) was nicely appointed. Granite, tile, fireplace, (funny at 107 degrees) full washer/dryer, flat screens on the walls, HUGE master bath tub and walk-in closet. They have porticos for your cars, which is appreciated in such heat.

The ok stuff: The floor plan is SMALL. Enough for us to move around, but not much open space. The second bedroom had no bureau, so the clothes had to be put away on little wired shelving in the closet. Not ideal for socks and underwear. We were diligent in keeping the shades closed and lights off, as the sun is relentless. Kind of cave-like. I think if we stayed in a different block out of the sun it might not have been so bad.
The buildings were pretty worn on the outside, but the interior renovations made up for it. We were on the 3rd floor, and as it is a walk-up, dragging groceries and tired children up the stairs can be a chore. The upside is you don't have to listen to your neighbors partying over your head. The one restaurant is mediocre at best. Very loud and echoy, especially when the bartenders are making frozen drinks.

I don't have anything horrible to say about this resort. We own a timeshare at Orange Lake Resort in Orlando, and they tried to sell us on the Holiday Inn Club vacations, so we decided to trade in from another timeshare we own and try this out. It doesn't compare to Orange Lake. We'll probably keep trading and bouncing around to the other Holiday Inn Club vacation spots to check them out.

“Great Location - nice updated room”

We used vacation points from another property to trade for this property for a weekend stay in Las Vegas. The location is GREAT! It's just a few blocks from the main Vegas Strip, right in the center of the Strip. The giant Ferris Wheel and a Las Vegas monorail station is within a 5 minute walk from the property entrance. We stayed in a 2BR, 2 bath newly updated unit. It had everything that we needed. The living room and each BR had a separate flat screen TV.

I only have two complaints: 1) the swimming pool and hot tub for our unit was under renovation, and the crews who were working on it started work early in the mornings (around 730 am). The noise was audible in our rooms. The second complaint is that there are now ceiling fans in these units. I stayed with my wife in the master BR and it was almost unbearably ho in there, even though we kept the blinds and shades drawn all day, and had the central AC unit set at 65 degrees F. The other BR was on the east side of the unit and our friends who atayed in there were comfortable. If not for the lack of cooling in the master BR, I would have given this property a 5 rating.

On site shaded parking is available, but first-come, first-served.
