We had a great stay at the Platinum Hotel. We were in town with our teenage kids so didn't want to stay in a casino environment. Platinum was perfect. We had breakfast in the restaurant on the 5th floor and it was very good. We also had room service a couple of times and it was also good and reasonably priced for room service. Front desk staff and valets were great. We will definitely stay there again.

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience. In a city meant for adults, it is nice to have a smoke/gambling free property where families can also enjoy themselves. Im glad to hear our team provided exceptional service. We look forward to your future stay

The rooms at the platinum are all suites with huge bedrooms and living areas. A great big bathroom with stand up shower and a Jacuzzi tub big enough for two, maybe even more. You also get a kitchen with pots, pans, cups and silverware. Its really ideal for an extended stay, as you can buy groceries and prepare food rather than eating out every day. The rooms in the off season are a steal at around $100/night. I didn't use the spa, so I didn't rate it. Breakfast is reasonable, but its not included in the price of the room. Location is off strip and while there are places to gamble very close by, there is no gambling on premises, which can be a plus, too. I found the strip to be a pleasant walk away, but YMMV.

We travel to Las Vegas every year for the National Finals Rodeo......and usually at least one other time in between as we have famiy there. After reading some reviews....we thought we would try a non-casino experience. We stayed there 4 nights. I'm not one to usually write reviews....but our experience was delightful...all the way through. Location was excellent...easy two block walk to the strip/CowboyChristmas/Fanfest etc. Valet parking was SOOO nice...not having to walk through those parking lots and/or garages. Valets were on the spot EVERY time....never a wait. We were always greeted with a staff person opening the door and always greeted by a front desk person as we walked through the lobby. The women who waited on us in the bar were extremely friendly....Happy Hour was 4-8...not the usual 4-6 and heftier plates were available for our hungrier friends.
Rooms.....I didn't realize that we would have a kitchenette..separate bedroom. The bathroom was HUGE...the bathtub was HUGE....totally separate shower and double sinks. I forgot to take our Do Not Distub sign off the door when we left for the day....and so the room had not been serviced. When we returned about 3 PM...we got a telephone call asking us if we wanted service then! Housekeeping staff cleaned immediately and while she was in the room SHE got a phone call to be certain that we were being taken care of! Coffee in the room was supplied. There was a 7eleven store right next door for immediate needs.
One of the main reasons I wanted to stay there was for the opportunity to exercise and swim. The exercise room was very well supplied with machines/hand weights/etc. and very clean. Wish I could have turned the TVs off though.....there were 3 large ones...but I couldn't figure out how to turn them off. The indoor pool really WAS HEATED.........and one could swim outside through the opening.
Next to the pool is a restaurant.....and we were both VERY pleased at the selection...moderate prices and the food was excellent! So...we just ended up staying there for breakfast and lunches. Interesting food choices including egg white pomodora with spinach...really fresh fruits. It is NOT the usual casino coffee shop fare at all. There was a young man there at all our meals.....I think he must be the manager.....very gracious...attentive.......we felt WELL taken care of by him and wish him well!
Anyway.......I was curious what my husband's experience would be as he likes all the hoopla of the casino, buffets, etc. I heard him tell someone......we will stay here from now on......it was a VERY positive experience. Actually.....other than too many TVs on in the exercise room.....I can't think of a thing that wasn't SOOOOO welcoming and relaxing! It had a bit of a Zen feeling to it...peaceful. Get a room with a strip view! Spectacular.
There was no added resort fee......a great deal!

Room Tip: Strip view..........

Thank you for taking the time to share your spectacular experience. I am very pleased to hear the levels of services our team was able to provide. We can have huge rooms and great food but if we don’t provide outstanding service, we are just another hotel. I have just recently placed a phone by the fitness center in case anyone runs into issues but I wish I would have resolved before it affected you. Sounds like you really enjoyed yourself, hopefully we will see you next year.

My wife and I have been to Vegas a few times and wanted something off the strip. The Platinum was a great choice. This was our first stay there and it was fantastic!! Service by all staff was wonderful. Housekeeping was great( we like to leave a small tip each day). The valet parking was fantastic, we had a car and a Harley, both were treated with care and security. Front desk staff always went over the top to ensure our holiday went smoothly. If you need tickets to a show, just ask!! We used room service our first night and it was fast, hot and delicious.
Now the room! Huge, very clean, flat screen, fireplace, full kitchen ( stainless steel appliances). We were just 2 but very nice to have the large room, quiet double jacuzzi, separate shower, twin sinks. We were on the 16 floor facing the strip, highly recommended! The only area we were disappointed in was the pool area( lost 1 star from us). We love taking a swim after lots of walking and the pool area looked neglected on our visit. I realize it was not prime time for the pool area ( late November), but we felt it could have been better looked after. We never did have a swim!
It is only a short walk to the strip, and great way to exercise after a wonderful meal. The area of the hotel is great for some quiet time. The staff gave us a short cut drive off the strip to see a show at the Mandalay Bay ( they also booked our seats!!)
Overall, a wonderful stay, will be back for sure

Room Tip: Select Strip view as high up as you can!! Very quiet, great views

I was very pleased with my stay at the Platinum Hotel. I had two rooms, both of which were very large and nicely laid out. The management allowed my travelling companion to check in VERY early into one of the rooms and also upgraded his room. When I checked in later, they upgraded my room as well. While the upgrades were not necessary since all of their rooms seem large, they were still appreciated. The hotel is only a Vegas block (that is a long block) from Bally's, so it is very well located. Parking is free, but was valet only. While I would have originally preferred self-parking, the valet service was quick and actually pretty convenient. I would not hesitate to recommend the Platinum Hotel and will return there on my next visit to Vegas.

Room Tip: High floors facing the Strip have the best views.

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience. I am glad we were able to accommodate you and your guest early arrival and didn't make you jump through unnecessary hoops. Its nice to hear the positives about our valet team and that our team was able to turn a negative a positive. Its just a tad warmer here than in PA, if you wanted to warm up sooner than later.

This hotel is a star from start to finish and we will never stay anywhere else in Las Vegas now.
The valet parking is prompt & efficient and the staff were friendly and always ready to help with directions and is free to park , our last hotel was charging $8 self parking and $13 valet parking.
The reception was always pleased to see us , courteous & helpful , our flight was early and we were given a room at once matching our requests emailed to the hotel previously.
We were on the 11th floor facing the strip and the view at night was fantastic , we could even get a partial glimpse of the fountains at the Bellagio.
The rooms are incredibly , massive size and well equipped with everything you need on holiday , double Jacuzzi bath , walk in shower , sitting room with sofa and armchair , full sized kitchen , washer & dryer and a safe.
The only time we had a problem with the bath is was sorted in 15 minutes quickly and efficiently.
We found the location to be excellent both for driving as we were out in the car most days to go shopping or sight seeing and for walking to the strip.
My tip for walking to the strip , which was 8 minutes exactly as we timed it several times , if you do not like walking along the road is to slip into the Sports Book and Restaurants at Bally's rear entrance and then come out at the front reception.
This adds a few minutes on the walk taking it up to 10 minutes , we never felt in the least unsafe walking.
Thank you again to Tripadvisor for pointing us in the right direction and thank you to everyone at the Platinum Hotel for a fantastic vacation.

Room Tip: Strip view , we loved watching the strip lit up at night.

Thank you for the great review. We are ecstatic to have our hotel be your home away from home . Not only with the size and amenities in the room, but also by being able to give a much more personalized service without all the smoke and noise. As discussed we are currently working to update some items that are showing wear. Please reach out to me when you are ready for some more tranquility.

We recently stayed at the Platinum hotel for three nights, the service was great, our suite was very spacious and had a balcony overlooking the strip. If you don't mind a short walk to a quiet haven without a casino, it is first class all around, except the lounge service was rather slow at happy hour one day; nevertheless we would stay there again.

Room Tip: try for rooms higher up and facing the LV boulevard strip for night view
