“Typical Vegas...”
Reviewed June 28, 2013 via mobile

My husband and I went to see this last night, and based on other reviews, I was surprised at how many kids there were there. I could go on about taking kids to Vegas in the first place, but I'll digress. The show was so typically Vegas that I had to laugh. The "sirens" were just your typical Vegas girls, I was disappointed that they didn't even try for nautical or pirate themed outfits. I came away from the show mildly entertained and glad it was free, because it was cheesy and badly acted.

“Pretty cool show!!”
Reviewed June 20, 2013

I had heard this was a pretty neat show, and it was true! Action, cannons, sailing pirate ships. The area to stand and watch was cramped, there were a lot of people. But none the less, worth it. It was a cool show for kids and adults alike.

“Should be called Skanks of the Carribean - Awful!”
Reviewed June 19, 2013

Have been going to Vegas for about 2 decades now and I used to enjoy the Pirate battle in front of the Treasure Island Hotel on the Las Vegas Strip. Sure, the former show could be a little cheesy in parts but it was family friendly and they spun a fairly entertaining yarn. It's been a few years, so I thought I'd check out the redesigned Sirens of ti show and boy was I disappointed. Within 5 minutes of the scantily clad short-short wearing skanks grinding their rears in unison, the majority of the females and those with children in the crowd left the audience. The lip syncing was terrible..While I enjoy adult themed content, i don't believe the adult content should be featured on the sidewalk fronting the Hotel. Raunchy doesn't even begin to describe it. The high dives by the male pirate crew off the top masts were impressive but that was about the only saving grace for this show. If you go anyway, heed the warnings about pick pockets as the tight quarters in front of the show are a pick pocket thief's dream. Also, be careful if you are right in front of the Sirens ship. There is a sign warning you that you may get wet, but it doesn't say anything about the heat of the flames. Thanks to the security officer who came up to warn my niece about shielding her little girl from the intensity of the flames.

“Not as good as Pirates used to be”
Reviewed June 18, 2013

Wasn't really impressed with the Sirens show, in trying to spice it up they have lost the simple charm and fun that the pirates show previously had. Wouldn't bother going again
