Description: Steaks are the star at Chef David Walzog’s Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star Award-winning SW Steakhouse. Think A5 Japanese Wagyu, dry-aged tomahawk chops and a chile-rubbed double rib eye, featured on Food Network’s “Best Thing I Ever Ate.” Main courses like pan roasted sea scallops with English pea risotto and black truffle sauce are crowd favorites, as is the prime view of the nightly shows on the Lake of Dreams.

I was in Vegas for CES, the busiest convention week of the year, and had dinner at SW because it was the only restaurant that could accommodate a table of 10 that day. I was pleasantly surprised, the service was impeccable, the steaks were phenomenal, however the wines were a bit pricey. Our Argentinian waiter recommended the bone-in rib eye. I had a couple of steak connoisseurs at the table and they all agreed it was the best steak of their lives. It melted in the mouth.

We loved our dinner here. It wasn’t cheap, but it was worth it. Steaks were great cuts and perfectly cooked. Our service was great as well. The star of the night though was the creamed corn (with truffles). We loved having a window seat to watch the Lake of Dreams show from the waterfall outside.

Beautiful restaurant with great food. Service was a little off though . We were told by two servers they would be splitting the table between them. ( we were a party of 3) I don’t believe they really knew who was in charge of the table. We heard the same servers describe the dishes and specials to other tables - we were not given the same consideration. There was a long delay between apps- missed wine selection - nothing horrible just not up to their usual service level which I guess we came to expect. Regardless we still enjoyed our dinner.

Loved the food, service, and the ambience of this restaurant! Their steak was amazing and Alaskan king crab pasta was to die for! I loved their bread --- pretzel was so good!
