“$12 for burnt fries. Very salty steak.”
Reviewed November 25, 2012 via mobile

Ate at SW after seeing the promotional video, which looked amazing but I have to say I was disappointed with my experience.

The starter of crab bisque was not what I expected and tasted like cheap minestrone soup from a can (it cost about $20). The filet mignon was cooked as requested but covered in salt which took away from the taste. It came with a sun dried tomato, garlic and chilli on top. I first ate the tomato which tasted horrible so i left the other two. $65 for steak and another $24 for sides. The $12 fries were burnt and cold. I ate about 2 fries and left the rest. Broccolini was fine.

I expected a fine dining experience and what I actually got was a huge quantity of poorly cooked food instead. If you like quantity over quality then maybe you'll like this place but youd be better off in one of the buffets and have drinks in the bar overlooking the lake of dreams instead.

The lake of dreams was cool but there are other ways to see it and overall I was thoroughly disappointed with my meal. Wish I'd just gambled the money away instead.

“Truly top notch!”
Reviewed November 24, 2012 via mobile

Enjoyed a fabulous meal at the wynn's sw steakhouse! The menu extensive, wine list was superb (very expensive) and the service world class and attentive. Would have to say that this is now my favourite steakhouse in Las Vegas! Bookings required and get an outside table that overlooks the water show which is a must to see. Had the filet mignon which would be amongst the best I have ever had!

“YUM!”
Reviewed November 24, 2012

We ate here on Thanksgiving night. They offered a Thanksgiving menu and the food turkey with all the trimmings looked delicious but I ordered a 9oz filet (smallest cut of meat on the menu). It was delicious! My partNer ordered the lamp chops and they were very good as well. The service was outstanding and we will definitely return to SW.

“Great view - Great food”

The SW steakhouse may be hard to get into at times, so make a reservation. You will be glad that you did. Ask for the vegetarian menu, even if you are not a big fan of steak, they offer some great seafood and vegetarian options. I had the beef carpaccio and it was very good, with a caesar salad it was a perfectly light meal.

“Excellent on all accounts”
Reviewed November 22, 2012

Excellent restaurant, fine wine (an unbelievable list) in a beautiful setting with a view of the fountain/light show. While it may be a steakhouse, the lamb chops with harissa were outstanding. The butterscotch creme brûlée is worth the price of admission. Costly, but worth the price.
