Although The Signature at MGM Grand is connected to the MGM Grand, it really is a world away from the trashy Strip. Our room was large and well-appointed, with a jetted tub and walk-in shower in the bath. The fitness center and the pools are quiet and clean. There is a cafe and Starbucks within the Signature property. The MGM Grand casino, restaurants and pools are easily accessed through hallways with airport-style moving walkways, but visits to the MGM pool with floating cigarette butts and the restaurants ringing the smoky casino only served to enhance my appreciation of the calm and clean Signature. If you have to come to Las Vegas, this is a pretty nice place to get away from it all.

We came here without the kids for a really well earned break & stayed in one of the apartments. Superb size and quality. Brilliant service & very efficient for taxi bookings and reception desk service. Can't fault it.

We loved the hotel! This hotel has awesome service, accommodations and offers great space in the the rooms. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful.
It has very easy and convenient inside walkway access to the MGM Grand Casino, restaurants, and the main Vegas Blvd.Our room was a corner room with great views! When we did sleep it was quiet and comfortable.

We stayed at the Signature at MGM for 4 nights during September. There are 3 towers joined to the MGM Grand hotel via a covered walkway of which some are moving so does not take long to get to the MGM if you want to use there services. Check in was fine and our request of a high floor was met and we were given an upgrade to a balcony room. Upon arriving at our room we found the door lock was broken so could not enter. A security guard called Jason was very friendly and helpful while we waited for an engineer to come and replace the lock. A few days later we received some beers and chocolate covered strawberries with a lovely card appologising for the door issue. This was a nice gesture and much appreciated (thank you Jason!)
The room itself was a signature balcony deluxe suite which was very well appointed, large bathroom, big jacuzzi tub, large walk in shower, two sinks and a separate toilet. Bedroom and lounge area had sofa, dining table and chairs, and the kitchen had a coffee/tea maker, fridge with ice box, microwave and plenty of utensils. Due to the lack of nearby dining options for breakfast (although there is a Delights cafe in tower 2) we had breakfast in our room each morning which saved money and was more relaxing. The large sliding patio doors opened onto the balcony which gave a good view, once closed there was no sound so very peaceful and quiet in your room, as was the whole tower. We did not hear noise in the corridors as you would in some other hotels either. However, we did meet another English couple staying in a room opposite ours and overlooking the wet republic pool and when we went on their balcony, the music was extremely loud, even 33 floors up.
The Signature is very different to the resort hotels, peaceful and quiet and a tranquil area after you have enjoyed the noise and bustle of Vegas (if you follow our room tip!!) although only about 15 mins from your room to walk to the strip, you can go through the MGM grand or out the main entrance to the towers and turn left onto E Harmon Ave. Having stayed in the Luxor previously, we did miss some of the atmosphere of being in a casino hotel and were disappointed by the fact we were not given any discount vouchers for use in the MGM Grand. However if you want a peaceful escape from the rest of the Strip, this is definitely for you.
In short this is a quiet, peaceful place to stay with very clean well appointed suites but only a short walk to all Vegas has to offer.
One note is although there is no charge for car parking, it is valet only.

Everything was so peaceful at the Signature, even in the chaotic world that is Las Vegas. The concierge recommended Ka by Cirque Du Soleil and it was by far the greatest entertainment that I have ever seen!

Room Tip: If you can take the elevation, take a higher floor due to the amazing views!

My family and I stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights and I was disappointed with the level of service and with some of the facilities.

Security Gate Staff, Valet Parking attendants and Front Desk staff were all very pleasant and helpful upon our arrival. Unfortunately it took 2 phone calls (1st call took about 4 minutes for somebody to answer) and a total of about 40 minutes after our check-in before our bags were delivered to our room. My normal expectation is about 15 minutes. They made some excuse about not knowing my bag check number. It should be noted that although I pressed the Bell Hop button on the phone, the call appeared to be answered by a hotel guest relations representative.

The overall condition and facilities within the suite appeared to be very good, although again we encountered some issues. We had our 2 children with us, so had a King Bed and a Sofa Bed in the suite. After unfolding the Sofa Bed we retreived the sheets and blankets from the main bedroom closet. One of the sheets was covered with what appeared to be mould stains (black circular patches). Pressed the Housekeeping button on the phone and call was again answered by the same guest relations representative.

Whilst waiting for the new set of sheets to arrive I noticed in the kitchen that there were no disposable coffee cups. Although a coffee maker, coffee pouches, cup lids and cup sleeves were supplied, there were no disposable cups. Cards placed in the kitchen stated that cutlery and dishes supplied on request.

When housekeeping arrived with the replacement sheets, I asked about the disposable cups. They said I needed to contact Housekeeping via the phone. Called again and spoke with the same guest relations representative. Don't think she understood my question re disposable cups as about 10 minutes later a waiter turned up with a trolley full of plates, bowls, glasses, tea cups and cutlery to outfit the kitchen cupboards.

The remaining 2 days of our stay were fine.

My experience above would mean that I would be reluctant to recommend this hotel to friends and family.

We have stayed here several times and always previously had rooms direct with hotel. We have always had a standard suite and they are beautiful, perfectly well prepared and the service is superb. I would normally give it 5 stars without question but could not on this occasion.
This time we had a corner suite, which was beautiful, but saved some money by booking through Luxury Suites International. We hadn't realised at the time that this means the hotel room, whilst in the Signature is not serviced/managed by the Signature. So if you need anything you have to call Luxury Suites team during their operating hours. We had a few problems as the room had not been prepared to the same standard we had come to expect of the Signature (because it was not them doing it!) The kitchen was not as clean as we would expect with a dirty hob and waste food left in the waste disposal unit and it took a couple of calls to get it sorted out. There were other issues too with rubbish under the bed (which I found whilst searching for the remote control!), and we needed an engineer to sort out the TV. We have never had issues like this before and whilst we would definitely stay there again, we would definitely go direct as the standards are far higher!
Overall the hotel is superb and very quiet, which is why we have stayed there repeatedly. The thick carpets and outer doors to every pair of suites make for a very peaceful stay.
