“Great service for the most part, comfy rooms!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 13, 2012

We stayed at the Signature for 4 nights as we got a pretty good deal for this 5 star hotel on the strip. I always enjoy staying somewhere different and the high end treatment is a personal treat.
I had requested on Expedia (room and flight included) that it was our first time here and could we please get a nice floor. Signature did not disappoint! We checked in and we were floored that we scored a Penthouse in Tower 1! Floor 35! There are about 38-40 floors in this building.
I have seen from other reviews that most people had balconies - we did not but we did not even notice. We had a nice kitchenette, fully stocked which does not happen with a kitchen all too often - normally you have to call down for this or that. Coffee maker, toaster, blender, stove burner, all included. I have never seen a blender in a hotel room, ever.
We blew a light bulb when we walked into our room turning on a lamp and someone was around very quickly to replace that after our call and set up our safe which had been shut prior to our arrival and unusable until security came to fix it. Oh, and housekeeping came for extra coffee - very needed. Everyone was cheery with a smile on their faces - all the staff seemed to be aware that service meant a LOT to this hotel.
We had a King bed (sooo comfy!) and a pull out cot/couch - there is a centre divider there so you are not having to look at the person sleeping on the other side of the room, thankfully. The room is not huge, but comfortable.
The TV was awesome, then the bathroom had another smaller flat screen TV.
The huge jetted tub was the nicest and best I have ever been in. If you are a bath person like me, there is nothing like getting in from partying at 530am and being able to take a nice long soak. (use caution! Ha! It is DEEP!)
The property was clean and they had a lot of things going on, gift shop, Starbucks, The Lounge where you could have a drink...
Tower 1 is closest to the MGM and I had seen a lot of people complaining via reviews about the walk to the casino but it really is not that bad. They even have 3 motorized walkways that help you get to where you want to go faster. And then out the MGM doors you go and you are on the Strip!
I loved that Signature was non-smoking and non- gaming. Very safe and very quiet. Classy.
I would stay here again even despite the resort fees of $28 a day. (includes wireless that works very well)
We did not make it down to the pool but it was hopping on the hotter days we were there... next time.
The only downside was after check out - a grand place like this did not have anyone holding the door and no taxis were waiting outside - one was called for us. A small thing but a nice exit with a personal touch woud have meant a lot.
Once I got home I missed the Signtaure bed - I thought I had an amazing mattress but now I know there are better ones out there!

Room Tip: Try to get Tower 1, closest to MGM.

If you want the luxury of the Wynn, but at a place that is more relaxed, this is it.

Stayed here for 3 nights last year and looking forward to returning as opportunity presents itself.

Everything was clean, comfortable and professional.

I am typically a north strip type of guy, Wynn, Venetian area, based on the conventions that I go to, however it was worth staying at the Sig as long as you have a car.

Ok, the rooms. While not the largest, they were efficient. Clean comfortable bed (extremely important to me to get good sleep), a mini kitchen, a big TV, a comfortable work space (table and chairs), and an amazing bathroom.

the downsides... parking is only valet. While the valet staff was courteous, I hate having to leave my car, and call ahead to get it. There is no self parking. As long as you are a decent human being, you will be leaving tips, so figure another $5 a day for valet.

Resort fees.... around $20 IIRC? Add that to the room price.

Location, it is connected to the MGM by moving walkways, otherwise it is off the strip, and a decent walk, but better yet drive.

Was it worth it? Yes, as long as you can get a rate under $100/night, and back in all the extras.

Room Tip: I know they have some rooms with balconies, and some larger rooms. Ask.

We stayed in Signature Tower 1 for 4 nights in September 2012. We very much enjoyed our experience. The room was well appointed; very comfortable bed with quality linen, spacious bathroom with lovely fittings, a small fridge (always handy) and basic kitchen equipment. We enjoyed the small balcony too.

We found all staff friendly and very helpful.

Each tower has its own pool for exclusive guest use, but you have the added bonus of being able to use the MGM grand pool facilities as well. (THey have a huge pool complex, including a fun lazy river).

The tower connects to the MGM via several moving walkways. There are numerous restaurants, foodcourts, shops etc all in the MGM complex, plus it is the last stop on the vegas monorail.

Be aware that the Tower is set back from the strip, and it is about a 10 minute walk...but the MGM is one of the largest hotel complexes in the world, so it is to be expected.

Young groups looking for a real Vegas party location might not enjoy this as much, but for those wanting to enjoy vegas, but also have a quiet retreat, I think the Signature is perfect.

Loved staying at the signature. check in went so fast I had to ask twice if we were done! Everyone smiles and wants to help!
The rooms were fantastic! Literally could save money just because they have all the amenities! Fridge, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, etc. Was wonderful! Used the whirlpool tub a couple of times. The bed was fantastic! And what was really nice is that it is part of the MGM but you are away from all the traffic so it is nice and quiet! Loved staying here. We even booked as a package and felt like it didn't matter. Were treated like queens!

Room Tip: stay in the signature to get away from all the traffic and noise. Nice and Quiet!!

Just returned home after 5 wonderful days in Vegas. Travelled with my sister (both in our early 50's) and we absolutely loved this hotel. Yes ..... it is a little further off the main strip, but we appreciated the fact that it was a quieter hotel than the one's with casino's. We walked so much during our stay that the extra 10-15 minutes to get to our hotel was no big deal. You can grab a taxi and go anywhere along the strip for $7-$8. Taxi from the airport was less than $20. This is a non-smoking hotel, but there is an outdoor patio for those wanting to smoke. Each tower has it's own pool with food/drink service or you can walk the extra 10 minutes to enjoy the MGM pools, which were also very nice. Our room (in Tower 2) was ready when we checked in at 9am!! Bonus! Everything was very clean and well maintained. We would definitely return to this hotel for our next visit.

A quiet and comfortable hotel. Our room was spacious and comfortable with great views on the strip, and reasonably priced. The hotel is within walking distance of the main part of the strip, but you dont feel like you're in the middle of it all.
There's a nice cafe with good food, and some relaxing pools. You can also use the pool at the MGM but that one is very noisy and crowded.
The price was very reasonable, this place is simply a great bargain and an excellent choice for a quality vacation in Vegas without paying extra for a brand-name hotel.

The perfect trip to Vegas is a 3-4 day long weekend......for that and a longer stint, the Signature is my place. Away from the action just enough to feel like you're not in Vegas 24/7...A place to escape and relax until you're ready to hit the night life. It's a feeling of living in Vegas instead of just visting. The amenities are first rate, and everything is a monorail ride away. Convenient and luxurious. The kitchen allows you to have breakfast in your room without getting dressed. Gives you time to recover and get some sleep. ;-)
