We were in Vegas over New Years and while walking through Ceasers someone was handing out passes for the Club as PSY was performing for his Birthday, so we went.
We got there about 9:45 and had to join a line to get in. The line barely moved and then when it did we got split into 2 rows and there was no control. I asked one of the workers and he had no idea why one line moved faster than the other.
One other thing we noticed where guys trying to up sell groups of guys to try and get them in if they paid $525 and they would get a bottle of something. That to me was poor taste in the club especially since they were asking $30 and $60 per male to get in. Notice there were two prices, why, I don't know.
Nice club instead. The passes gave women free, watered down Vodka only drinks. We stayed around the dance floor area which was absolutley crazy. The club was packed, no control over the people. People were being pushed all night and of course there were fights.
As for PSY, we were told he would sing about 11:30 - 12. Well, it was 1:30 when he did, but by then there was a scrap beside where they put him. Once again, no control.
I asked to speak to a Manager on the way out and the guy had no idea where one was and asked if there was a problem. Simply, I told him, the club had no control over the people inside or out as the crowd inside was uncontrolable. The guest was 2 hours late and then the music. I think it is a Vegas thing, but they play the same beat for extended periods. No main stream dance music and every half hour they played the same song "Put your Fuxxxxx hands in the air" Swearing and continous Hip Hop beats seams to be the Vegas theme?
Overall, not the best time, but better than Lavo, I guess
