“Excellent Alternative to Las Vegas Strip”
Reviewed December 1, 2013

I have stayed at the Red Rock couple of times. Both times I have been impressed by the room and room amenities. In addition the hotel looks like a resort without the glitz of other strip hotels. The on-premise restaurants and the service is excellent.

This was about our 6th visit to the Feast Buffet, and it is always an excellent meal. The selections are divided among American, Asian, Italian, etc. With a separate desert section as well as a large salad bar section. The food is always tasty and served at the appropriate temperature, and the variety ensures that there is plenty for everyone... And most likely, that everyone will waddle out stuffed! We make a visit to Feast Buffet a part of each of our twice-yearly trips to Vegas.

We recently stayed at the Red Rock for 2 nights. From the moment we drove in to Valet we were impressed. You could easily stay here and not have to leave as there is just so much to do. Rooms were amazing! Our 3 year old son loved the TV in the bathtub. We utilized Kids Quest located in the hotel the only problem I have with that is you can only leave children here for 5 hours at a time with a 1 hour break. It would be nice to be able to see a show in Vegas whilst knowing your kids are safe and having a blast at Kids Quest. If we returned to Vegas we would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: The suites were booked out when we arrived as we didn't have a booking. But when walking past an...

It was worth the stay in this beautifully located casino resort. Its a huge property with a casino & a number of eating joints & restaurants inside, about 10 miles away from the hustle & bustle of Las Vegas strip. My room overlooked the swimming pool & the Red Rock Canyon at a distance. The check in was smooth. The resort charges one night's rate as advance booking charge. While checking in, I was forewarned by the receptionist to be careful about the items placed in the minibar. It had sensors inside & if you pick anything & don't place it within 30 seconds, consider it charged to your bill - scary!
The resort provides frequent shuttle bus service to the strip, which did help. The Red Rock Canyon is about 5 miles away from the resort & is a must visit place. The resort also has a number of ballrooms for business meetings & the food provided was excellent.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the Red Rock Canyon give a beautiful view

If you want to be near Vegas but out of the strip noise it is a very good choice. The rooms are very well beds, very comfortable and clean.
you have a little city in the hotel, casino, stores, great buffet, outstanding bowling and cinemas.
You can do whatever you want without getting out of the hotel
you' re just 8 miles from strip and there are free shuttle service to both strip and airport .

We always have a great time at Red Rock and all the Station Casinos. We would much rather go there than on the strip in Vegas. The dealers are more fun and friendly, it is less smoky and they always have lower minimum tables to make your gambling at least last longer so maybe you can hit the big one! We usually do!

Room Tip: We prefer closer to the elevators
