I had stayed here years ago, and I returned last month for 1 night. My girlfriend and I had stayed the previous night at the Cosmopolitan but were disappointed, so we moved to the Red Rock. Much cheaper, nice big room, great pool area and bars, small but fine casino, ok restaurants. Best was the spa--it was large, clean and very relaxing! We agreed that we will return w/ other friends for hiking in Red Rock Canyon and horseback riding (and I'll gamble a bit). Close to Strip, so go there if you want and then come back to Red Rock and relax!

The room was nice, large, and beautifully decorated. And there was hair in the soap dish, melted wax on the edge of the soaking tub and the toilet handle needed to be jiggled for it to stop running. Early check in was no problem, yea! And the mini-bar was one of those demonic computerized things where you get charged if anything moves, which is a deal breaker for me. The location is lovely and if you want to go to the strip it's easy. And you will likely have to endure the horrible music in the elevators and the parking garage. One day the glasses in our room didn't even get washed. So some good, some bad.

We booked this Hotel as a "Getaway" after the Interbike Tradeshow in Las Vegas. What a surprise!! It was fabulous. The pool and the room were Amazing. They have a very good selection of restaurants, gaming and other activities to keep you busy. We will definitely return...

Room Tip: Ask for a room with the Mountain view. They usually overlook the pool as well.

Beautifully decorated room with soaking tub and marble everything. Comfortable bed with smooth bedding and adequate pillows. Gorgeous pool area. Easy check in at a terrific lobby. Quiet intimate bars or rowdy bars with entertainment.
There is a separate valet for hotel and for casino; very convenient. Staff was uniformly friendly. Would go back again.

Room Tip: It can be a looong walk to the elevator. Ask for a room close to elevator.

We recently stayed at Red Rock during our visit to Las Vegas. It is a short drive to the strip and there is free and easy parking at all of the major casinos so we found it very accessible to the strip if you have a car. We liked this resort because it is quiet, not crowded and relaxing, which is exactly what we wanted on this trip. The pool is huge and the rooms are spacious. The all you can eat buffet was very good. We will definitely stay at this hotel again.

I just left the Red Rock resort and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. It is a long way from the strip in the hills on the west side of Las Vegas. They have a shuttle to and from the airport and to and from a mall on the strip. The pools here are beautiful, although I was busy with a conference and didn't get a chance to swim. There are several restaurants at the hotel and a few across Charleston. Several bars, the obligatory casino, movies, bowling and a food court. It isn't as manic as the strip hotels. They work hard to keep guests at their resort. The rooms are very nice with nice lighting, very large marble bathrooms with soaking tubs large enough for two and separate showers. I attended a party in one of the penthouses, and all I can say is WOW!!! This place is quieter than the strip but very nice.

We usually stay on the strip, so I wasn't sure about staying so far away. Let me say, I found not one thing objectionable about this hotel. The staff was friendly, the restaurants great, the casino as well. We were at a convention, so we didn't have a chance to go to the strip to see any shows, but, I wouldn't mind staying here again. It feels a world away from the strip, and was, dare I say, relaxing. Oh, and yes I did visit the spa, and if you're going to get a massage, ask for David.
