“Wish I had stayed here again this time!”
Reviewed July 28, 2013

Went to Vegas for my sons 21st birthday so I didn't stay at Red Rock so he could stay on the Strip and "see all the sights"! New York/New York was nice but wish I had stayed at Red Rock again, they have just ruined me to all other Vegas hotels. I took son out to Red Rock to show him around and after 3 hours there, he said "Dad why didn't we stay here???". Red Rock is first class, the casino, the restaurants, the decor and landscape is beautiful, parking amazingly close, everything about it I love. The dealers are all friendly, and speak English which I like. The decor is very upscale throughout and the rooms are very modern and nice. Won't make this mistake again, Red Rock from now on.

The Red Rock is a great convention spot, with lots of excellent restaurants and food court choices to serve large crowds of meeting-goers in a timely manner. The rooms and bathrooms are elegantly decorated and spacious. The beds are comfortable, and room-darkening drapes afford a nice, dark room for sleeping (when you finally get there). The convention rooms are plentiful--you can get all the exercise you need getting from the elevator to your meetings, and then walking through the Casino to lunch or dinner. Red Rock personnel are gracious and helpful.

If you don't like smelling like smoke, the Red Rock does it better than most, though you'll still end up with the smokey aftereffects. At checkout time for one or more good-sized conventions--be sure you have left lots of time to get to the airport. The shuttle is booked way ahead and isn't large enough for everyone who might want to go, taxis don't always come out that way, and getting your rental car might take some time. Keep calm and remember what a good time you had!

Room Tip: Both city views and canyon views are lovely--you almost can't go wrong. On the higher floors yo...

We just returned from a "stay-cation" here and it was great! If you want to be, or need to be off of the strip this an excellent choice - perfect for families with children (we typically try to avoid the strip if our 9 year old is with us).

Pros:
Lots to do! Fabulous, large pool area - lots of cabanas, various smaller pools away from main pool, very tasty poolside food, fun fountain & lots of lifeguards for kids.
Very nice, family friendly bowling alley. For $4pp each game it was cheap, fun entertainment!
Large movie theater (16 theaters).
Many food choices in hotel/casino - from upscale steakhouse to buffet & fast food.
You don't have to go through casino to get to the pool, spa, rooms, or Starbucks - nice with kids.
Shuttle to Strip if you must go!
Nice, updated rooms and hallways - no smoke & very clean. A TV over the tub was a hit with our kid!
If you want to leave the resort there are several restaurants within walking distance. Hiking in Red Rock Canyon isn't too far (but you will need a car), and there are many trails that are kid friendly.

Cons: Not a big downside here, just a couple of things: Coffee makers in the room would be nice. A few extra towels in the bath would help (we had to track down a maid in the hallway for a 3rd set). Maid service was just okay - making up the beds should consist of putting ALL the decorative pillows back on the bed, right? Not leaving everything piled on the only sofa in the room. And again, not enough towels left for our family of 3.

I can't imagine a kid being bored here. Our daughter LOVED it and we will absolutely return.

Had to be there to give a talk at a meeting and brought my wife and daughter. It was all very nice and fun. The room, pools, casinos, restaurants and bowling were all great.

Only downside was slow and less than par housekeeping at times. Most of the resort staff were great but there were a few that were far less than that.

The red rock is a really lovely resort. I normally stay at the encore on the strip and found this resort to be just as good apart from less shops and being from the strip.

The standard room was huge even in Vegas standards and well decorated. The bathroom was big with a massive tub.

We were given a strip view is great at night.

The pool area is really big with great sun comfy sun loungers.

Lots of nice places to eat in the evening. You are better to make a reservation for the restaurants as they were pretty busy and that was on a wednesday night.

I will definately return!

My Wife and I stayed here while visiting family and we had a great time. Our room was very comfortable and offered everything we needed. The pool is wonderful and there is a lot of fun things to do for the kids. We had fun bowling.
After the kids are in bed we enjoined the lounges and casino.

If you are tired of the Vegas strip go out to Red Rock Casino. As a added benefit the buffet is outstanding. The food will leave you totally satisfied, the cost was not bad either. Parking was plentiful as well. Although I did not go to the Spa I was told it was a great experience as well.
