Me and my sister stayed here in May. It was our first time staying off the strip. We loved it. The decor is great, the rooms were modern, the casino was not overly crowded. We did not miss the strip at all (it has become so crowded). Red Rock is about 17 miles from Vegas, but we could see the skyline of Vegas from our room.... it was beautiful at night looking out and seeing the moon hovering over the city. We rented a car so we could drive to Fremont St. and Red Rock Canyon... it was worth it. A taxi from the airport to the hotel is about $50 without tip.. and we rented a car for $100 for 4 days. And of course parking is free so it was a no brainer for us. Book this hotel you will not be sorry, you get the feel of Vegas without the craziness of the strip.
