“comfortably chic”
Reviewed October 22, 2012

The Red Rock has nice large comfortable rooms decorated in a nice modern "chic" style. If you don't like to walk be sure to ask for a room with a low number near the elevator - it was a LONG walk from the elevator to our room (153). I must agree with other reviews that the hotel is not very convenient if you want to go to the strip or downtown. Good for a "get away" . Also, the refrig in the room can not be used for your personal stash.... It is only set up for the "mini bar" service.

Room Tip: As stated in the review - it can be a LONG walk to your room. If that is an issue, be sure to reque...

We have stayed at many place in Las Vegas, but RED ROCK was great and relaxing. The food was fantastic...the service was great and our room super. We love the location and because it was less crowded than the strip, we were able to gamble more, relax more(pool is incredible) and go into the strip for shows with ease. We had a GREAT time and can't wait to go back!!!!!

Room Tip: A suite is perfect, with views of mountains and the pool. 8th floor or higher.

Just about to leave after a four day conference here.

Good stuff: The rooms are very large indeed, the staff that I met were very gracious, able to hold huge conference with minimal fuss, massive casino

Bad stuff: Not a lot really, the lifts are all loctaed at one side of the hotel which means that you have a very long walk down the slightly curved corridor to your room unless you are lucky enough to be closer to the lift. Try not to be further than room number 120 on any floor. For context, there are 58 rooms on each side of the corridor or a 3 minute fast walk! The conference food was either very good indeed, especially the desserts, or pretty terrible, breakfast. The hotel is also a 30minute drive from the strip.

Room Tip: Do not stay in rooms higher than 120 on any floor ie 17120 or 18120, all views are pretty crap

Stayed for my second time for a travel agency conference. The resort is quite nice. The rooms are large and well equipped. However we had some service issues. Our in room safe was broken. Not a big deal but we called several times and waited in our room twice for over 1/2 hour only for no one to show. To make matters worse we went to a supermarket down the street and purchased some water snacks and cosmetics. We placed the bag far away from the trash. We left and returned to find $40 worth of stuff gone. We complained and got a $50 credit. Still have to go back and repurchase everything so we were given $10 for our troubles. Not exactly a generous offer in my book.

The hotel is a nice, huge one.
remote from the strip and isolated, this hotel offers a relaxed stay. with a small but equipped gym and a nice pool, but with not night shows or exciting casino, it is suitable for a conference, relaxation and that's about all. the team is very polite. Few good restaurants in -site (try "Bones" in the casino floor). The atmosphere in the hotel's casino is quite and doesn't get close to the sparkling feeling you get in other places in this city.

Room Tip: take a room 10 to 20 rooms from the elevator- the remote ones will make you march...

If you are looking for a really nice hotel to stay at while in Las Vegas look no more! Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa is the place to stay. The rooms are just beautiful. Ask for a Moutain View around the 17th floor in the middle. The view is so nice and you will not even know you are in Vegas. The rooms are moden with everything you would want. Also this Hotel & Casino has great places to eat and things for the whole family. The Buffet is one of the Best in Las Vegas. So give it a try you will be glad you did.

Room Tip: They give you the option of a Strip view or a Mt. View just depends on what you like best. Both wou...

This was the first time I stayed here away from the Vegas strip. I was a little worried as I didn’t know what to expect but my stay here was more than what I thought it would be. I was glad that this place has almost everything you would need in order to have a fun time. When I was going into the parking lot, the place looks more like a shopping center. There’s a wide variety of restaurants and activities. I was surprised they even have a bowling alley. I’m more of a rest and relaxation type of person so I was glad I was able to freely go in and out of the resort area. The lounge chairs, beds, sofas and lap pool was very comfortable with the soothing music playing the background. I feel that this place has something for everyone. The room was also very comfortable. I opted for the mountain view but was a bit disappointed. I thought that the view would be more of the Red Rock Canyon, but it was more of the pool area, the surrounding suburban area, then finally Red Rock Canyon. Their website made it seem like it was closer to the canyon. Either way, this place was good enough since it provided an all-in-one Vegas experience.
