We are just checking out after a week in a two bedroom unit that we traded for through Interval International. 14th floor, nice view. Kitchen has all the dishes, pots and pans and pretty much everything you need except salt and pepper. Right next to planet Hollywood and the Miracle Mile so this is one place you could go a whole week and not rent a car. They have a shuttle to Walmart to pick up your groceries and it is an easy walk either to Mandalay Bay or all the way up to Treasure Island.may just over a mile and with so much to see you don't mind the distance. If you can't walk that far there are buses every few minutes. Pool is on the roof with a great view of New York-New York, Nice pool and Hot Tub. Great bar to grab a drink and enjoy the sun and the view. Note if you do rent a car the parking is valet. they park it and then go get it for you (No Exceptions) so figure on a couple bucks tip every time you get your car. They are prompt and courteous and the garage is locked so your car is safe at all times. Check in was wonderful, the concierge was very helpful. Actually all the staff were very nice. Management must treat the staff well as you won't see anything but smiling faces. If you just rent or trade for the one bedroom (lock off) it will come with a nice table and chair for 2 by the window, a fridge, microwave, toaster and coffee pot.Much better than your typical hotel room. This would be a great location for a family get away. Plenty of room and shopping right next to the gambling. We will definitely be coming back here again.

Room Tip: there is some construction going on and E. Harmon Ave is busy so try to get as high up as possible o...

Great rooms in a fantastic location just off the strip. We don't gamble. We visited Red Rock Canyon, Valley of fire Canyon not too far away which was a pleasant surprise. I enjoyed "Exotics Racing" also. No complaints.

This hotel fits the needs of a family traveling to Vegas in style. Only about a half of a block from the strip and direct views from the room this hotel has it all. With suites to fit families large and small kitchens and laundry facilities you have the amenities you need to accommodate the whole family. More and more people are enjoying the sin city with kids in tow so the rooftop pool is a huge hit for the kids. With a view of the hard rock and the strip. The kids can swim to their hearts content, moms can bask in the sun while the poolside misters keep you cool under all that desert sun and dads can grab a cold beer. I enjoyed this hotel because it was the little calm and relaxation that is required after a day of over stimulation of the senses on the strip. Take it easy with a stay here.

Just back from a weekend stay at the Marriott Grand Chateau. The property is located just south of Planet Hollywood, 1/2 block away from the strip. We stayed in room 2212, which had two bedrooms (1 king, 2 doubles) and two bathrooms. The room was spacious and suited our needs but it was a little worn around the edges (shower door wouldn't close). However, the view and customer service more than made up for the minor faults. We requested a high floor, strip view, and got exactly that. Wow!
Pros: Non-gaming, non-smoking. Front desk and valet service were Excellent! Close proximity to the Strip without the high cost. Spacious rooms. Good security (lobby checks room keys after 6p.m.). Free Wi-Fi. NO resort fees. Free Valet. They do not nickel and dime their guests.
Cons: No on-site restaurant, but Miracle Mile is just across the street with a multitude of eateries. Road noise and music from PH pool. But really, everything is noisy-it's VEGAS!

Room Tip: Ask for a Strip view, and check back often if it's not available.

This was our first time at this resort. Check in was fine. The suite was good. Slight noise from the construction. All the people that work there were pleasant. No hassle about a timeshare at all. The thing we appreciated the most was the location; just off Las Vegas Blvd. and just across the street a little from the Planet Hollywood walk. The valet worked well. The rooftop pool is small, but the view is enjoyable. The security person near the elevators was always cheerful. The only thing that bugged me was the washer and dryer took over 2 hours to cycle...and that's it !! We are going back to The Grand Chateau next time and I hope to enjoy the new pool.

I exchanged into a week at the Grand Chateau for the last week of April this year. This is the third time I have stayed here and have never had a bad time. The resort is central to the Vegas strip and right across the street from Planet Hollywood and City Center. The Grand Chateau is a beautiful place to stay, with all the amenities you could want and the convenience of being close to everything, yet far enough away from the casinos and noise. I would recommend this hotel/resort to anyone that wants to experience Las Vegas.

This is Marriott's Timeshare resort just a block off the strip and across from Planet Hollywood. The Cons:
They are building a 3rd tower and while we were there you heard the construction.
Their pool is on the roof and is very small, 3.5 ft deep
The Pros:
Friendly, excellent valet parking when you come and go, very attentive staff, rooms were almost immaculate. We had a 2 bedroom unit that included a kitchen including the utensils, big tub, washer/dryer.
What you wont find is any restaurant or cafe and a casino. This is based since this is a timeshare and not a casino. Overall I would stay again.
