Owner description: Downtown Container Park is an open-air shopping and entertainment venue featuring 38 unique retail shops, restaurants, and bars. Located in Las Vegas' flourishing Downtown neighborhood, the innovative center is built from 43 repurposed shipping containers and 41 locally manufactured Xtreme cubes. Upon arrival, guests are greeted by a 35-foot-tall praying mantis sculpture that shoots flames from its antennae. After entering the park, guests discover a whimsical world of one-of-a-kind boutiques, restaurants, and bars. The park also includes a stage for presentations and live music performances, as well as The Treehouse, an interactive play area featuring a 33-foot-tall slide, NEOS play system, oversized foam building blocks and much more. “Excellent experience”
Reviewed July 3, 2014

On my last day in Vegas, we stumbled on the Downtown Container Park. It was a fun surprise for someone in the planning field - and it provided a great complement to the rest of the Downtown. Arranged around a central quad area with park-like astroturf and play areas for children, the container park contained shops and restaurants in repurposed containers. I particularly enjoyed Bin 702, which was a great wine bar.

“Neat place to visit”
Reviewed July 2, 2014

Places to grab a bite to eat, shop, live entertainment in the evenings, a place for children to play.
All the buildings are made from shipping containers....even the elevator to the upper levels.

“Good food, drinks and shopping”

My family and I have been to Container Park several times. As long as the temperature is not too high, it's a great place to spend an afternoon.

“A nice stop while exploring downtown”
Reviewed June 30, 2014

The new(ish) container park is a must see. There are a variety of restaurants with good choices and ample opportunity for kids of all ages to run off some energy. Overall I found this place very clean with a high level of security which made me feel more at ease. There was a band playing, a grassy area to play on, a chalk wall and playground for the kids, and lots of cute little stores for the adults. I'd recommend stopping by here while exploring the downtown area.

“Worth A Visit”
Reviewed June 29, 2014

During a "staycation" in Downtown Las Vegas I wanted to make sure to visit the Container Park. I didn't know exactly what to expect but I was not disappointed.

After a very yummy breakfast at "Eat" restaurant across the street from Container Park, I waddled my way over to this new attraction. It truly is a shopping, eating and outdoor entertainment area built out of containers. The shops were small but interesting and featured unusual artistic items. Although I did not purchase anything I did enjoy browsing.

It was Sunday morning and there were many families with children who were taking advantage of the lovely play area. There is a large stage and Siren Strings, a trio of ladies who play rock songs on their stringed instruments, was entertaining the guests. After their performance they invited the children to touch their instruments and ask questions. What a wonderful and free way for a family to spend some time together outdoors. Restrooms are clean and plentiful, and the entire complex appeared to be in good condition.

It's definitely worth a short detour when Downtown to pay a visit to Container Park. I'll be back.
