Owner description: Acclaimed by MAGIC Magazine as the premiere comedy magician in the world today. How did a kid from Louisville, Kentucky find himself in the enviable position of being perhaps the funniest magician in America?Hailed by many as the premiere comedy magician in the world today, Mac King was just named "Magician of the Year" by the Magic Castle in Hollywood, just broke a Guinness World Record, just appeared on his seventh TV special for NBC-TV, just rocked on the Late Show with David Letterman, and has been regarded as one of the top 5 shows over the past Ten Years.

“More magician than comedian, but a good show nonetheless.”
Reviewed April 6, 2010

Performed many small-scale magic tricks, with some funny moments (pretty funny guy), good for adults with or without kids. Neat tricks, good humour, great price. Go to the info desk in Harrah's casino, and ask for the "Buy 2 drinks get 2 free tickets to Mac King" coupon. Drinks are about $13 each, but for $26 a couple can see his show.
Line-up about 30-40mins before show for your seats; it's general admission (at least at this couponed price).
Show lasts about 1hr15min, it was nice, simple fun.

“Saw him twice. Each time, completely hilarious, clean yet edgy. Simple amazing tricks.”
Reviewed March 27, 2010

Mac King is amazing, and I highly recommend his 1pm or 3pm shows. We got tickets at tix4less (many locations on The Strip) and saw him now, just as we did 6 years ago. The show has not changed much—same tricks and patter—but man is Mac funny! He really does some amazing magic, and has a funny look and pacing that is exceptional. Penn and Teller for night show (see my review) and Mr. Mac King for days. Money well-spent.

No bad seats, all good. He does take some audience volunteers, but is very kind to them, nothing awkward or annoying. Mac is engaging and professional. He is excellent—not at all amateurish; he knows the jokes and the “ropes” (he opens with a neat rope cutting trick) and makes a clash with cymbals and produces a beer from a napkin and eats goldfish (not really, mind you), and has humor that spans the generations. My kids saw them when they were tykes, and now again as teens, and loved every minute.

We saw another afternoon magic show, Nathan Burton, and Mr. Burton was rushed, had “large”, gimmicky tricks, but no humor, and he just seemed to be groping out there to wow the audience with spectacle rather than connecting with us as human beings. I mention it here not to bash Nathan Burton, who is newer than Mr. King, but simply because you’ll be sitting out there with a Benjamin Franklin in your pocket hot off the slots and thinking which show to see that afternoon. The answer is: Mac King Comedy Magic. An absolute knee-slapper!

You gotta hand it to Tripadvisor--when you see reviews at 5/5 stars for any show, it's impressive. To see them for Mac King is accurate. He's wonderful.

“Fun Afternoon Delight”
Reviewed March 22, 2010

An all family show which combines magic and comedy. It's a small theater and we sat in a booth laughing almost non-stop the whole time. Mac King did a great job! Great escape from the daily grind!

“Great Afternoon Laugh”
Reviewed March 19, 2010

We got the two free tickets voucher with the two drink minimum. Total cost was $26.

We sat at a table for six, and was thankful the host didn't sit any other people at our table because the chairs are sandwiched in.

Mac King came on stage with his memorable plaid suit and suitcase. He interacts with the audience and gets volunteers upon stage as well. The card tricks are cool, the goldfish /worm trick is neat. We laughed in the floor when he kept pulling cards out of his zipper and even more so when the female volunteer went to reach for the next card! LOL
The tent trick is awesome and i can't give it away, but this show is great for the afternoon, about an hour long and he stands out after the show to meet the audience. So down to earth and easy to talk to. My husband told him he saw Mac on a tv show when he was a kid, and Mac remembered the exact show.
We would go watch this again in Vegas.

“Excellent show”
Reviewed March 12, 2010

we saw Mac King in March 2010. Highly, highly recommend for comedy and magic. we were originally planning on seeing penn and teller but after reading their reviews on trip advisor and seeing many people suggested mac king instead we changed our plans. was going to buy tickets online - about $30USD but after reading that there are vouchers handed out at harrah's decided to try our luck with that. we easily came across a girl handing out the coupons. buy one drink (for about $11USD inc tax) and you get the free ticket. The bar tender was very generous in that i think i got a triple shot of vodka in my cocktail!! almost undrinkable!
the show was fantastic and he is very quick witted with his comedy. we had a 14 year old and 11 year old with us too who also thought it was great. very, very enjoyable and for only $11!!
