We travelled from Scotland to enjoy New Year in Las Vegas which until New Years eve was fantastic. We had been advised to book a table for New Years eve as all the clubs got very busy. We looked around for a nightclub which we thought would be appropriate and found Risques adverstising to be suitable for our needs. We phoned Paris Paris and the said that the Patio seats were the best as they had a great view of the strip, so upon this recommendation we booked a table for 4 which should include a bottle of spirits and mixers all for $1000, it also boasted of VIP entry (no queuing, entry at 9 for table bookings only) Upon arrival at Risque, at 9pm, we found a queue in the VIP table booking aswell as a queue in the general admission entry. After 45 minutes of our queue not moving and the general admission queue moving at a steady pace you can imagine a few angry faces. After 1 hour in the queue and only 2 hours to go till 12pm we found out that surprisingly there had been a mixup with the table reservations. Once we eventually got to the front of the queue and asked one of the doormen (short guy with no hair) for an explanition after paying for something which we were obviously not getting. The reception we received from him was appaling, he threatened to get us chucked out of the nightclub and asked if we had ever been to a nightclub before. If they cannot treat there customers with respect I would not recommend this nightclub under no condition. I have never been threatened in my life before by man. He then walked away and refused to speak to us. Eventually another doorman came along and told us that our name was not on the list and there had been a mixup with the table bookings. He told us to go up stairs get a drink and he would try to get a table for us. The mixup was that we had been sold tickets for a table outside, in the rain. Risque said that they told Paris Paris not to sell tickets outside (eventhough they were advertised on the Risque website) At 11:45 they found us a table. There was still a queue of VIPs still trying to get in at 11:45 and a lot of unhappy faces obviously people not getting what they thought they would get. Our ages range from 28 to 34 and we saw a few people ages 45 and over walking out after 10 mins. I would not advise going to this nightclub.
