I went for dinner with my wife last week. We were staying at the hotel and had a $25 coupon towards dinner and didn't want to head to the strip. The food was good, but not great, and the price reflected that. The polenta was hard (as another reviewer mentioned) and the restaurant needs some ugrading. The service was ok and the mood of the restaurant was more business than couples.

Stayed at hotel a week. Our first night server was not watching where she was walking and tripped dropping our soup & salad all over the person next to us. When she replaced it, our guests were finished. Threw off the tempo of the table.
Two nights later decided to try it again because food was good in spite of service. Hostess had such a bad and sour attitude that I walked away instead of following her around the corner to be seated. Food was good but not that good to deal with incompetence and attitude. They lack customer service. For a struggling restaurant away from the main strip, they can not afford customers being chased away because they don't know how to treat a customer with basic customer service skills. Food is average not exceptional. There are plenty of other eateries who want our business.

Based on the price we got exactly what we expected. Good service and nice food. Nothing was amazing but neither was anything bad. Oh- the wine list had some great choices too.

My husband and I chose this restaurant based on a concierge recommendation. This was our one really nice dinner out and we were prepared to spend significantly on it, as we do not gamble and were looking for an experience rather than a just a meal. We were NOT disappointed. The atmosphere is rich, the lighting is low, and the music is right out of the Rat Pack days. The steak and lobster were both to die for. Yes, it is a la carte, but the servings of salads and vegetables are very generous and as good as the entrees were. I had sauted mushrooms and lobster tail and a wedge salad. He had steak, au gratin potatoes and Caesar salad--we both thought the salads were the best we'd ever had. The service was wonderful. The photo that we agreed to purchase from one of those roving photographers was very good quality and nicely presented, and it will be a fond reminder of this excellent night!
