“Where are the shower curtains?”

the Hilton Garden Inn does not have shower curtains so the water gets all over the floor. Had to get extra towels to place on the floor to dry up all the water. The glass shower doors were not flush, so water gushes through. Also, the shower heads are pretty small. They're not bad, but not good either. Just need to update them for a better showering experience. Front desk personnel were lukewarm. My wife and I are black. Our interaction with some of the staff seemed awkward...not sure why. What's unfortunate is I have stayed here serveral times and have always enjoyed my time here. Very quiet hotel away from the strip, and the setup in the lounge area is comfortable. The breakfast is very good. Cool bar area where I've sat and watched the hockey and basketball playoffs. We just had a bad experience this time, and by no means do I want to discourage anyone from staying here. But there should be an attempt to create a more diverse staff. Rather than having Hispanics doing all the dirty work, and whites (or those who appear to look white) working the front desk, have a nice mix of everyone, doing everything.

Thank you for sharing your hotel experience on Trip Advisor. I am glad to know that you usually stay at our property when you are in town. I am sorry to hear that you were not happy with the way our front desk and the rest of the team wlecomed you. I want to assure you that every guest is equally and highly appreciated at the Hilton Garden Inn Las Vegas Strip South, no matter what race they belong to. As for our front desk team, I must tell you it could not even be more diverse with one Indian gentleman, four filipinos, one Eastern European lady, one Hispanic gentleman, one Korean lady and only two white Americans. Any race is more than welcome if qualified for the position, but we can only choose from those who do apply for a front desk position. At the same time, we really appreciate our housekeeping team's hard and dedicated work, and never consider theirs as a "dirty job". Again, I really hope you will return to us and enjoy the warm and welcoming atmosphere we are trying to create for our valued guests.

Nice Room. My only complaint is that the bed was not as soft and comfortable as i thought it should be. My back hurt a little the next day, they even had an adjustable dial for the mattress pad, but it was little to no help. The room was very clean, and i love the new Keureg coffee machine.

We had a 12 hour layover in Vegas, and we wanted something away from the Strip, gambling, and all of the other distractions of Vegas. Basically, we just wanted a nice, clean hotel with good service. This Garden Inn met all of our expectations - not a slot machine to be seen (or heard), really friendly staff, and a quiet environment free of gamblers and party boys.

We used the hotel's airport shuttle, and couldn't have been more impressed. After we picked up our bags, we called the hotel and by the time we made it to the pickup point, the van was waiting. Likewise, the drop off was just as efficient.

All in all, a very nice, reasonably priced venue perfect for anyone needing a quiet place in Vegas for a night.

If you want a quiet place to stay and not have to smoke someone else's cigarette - this is your spot! No casino is sometimes a good thing. Your children don't have to be exposed and you can go to several places within walking distance; and hundreds within a short cab ride. I loved the room too. Be mindful that there isn't daily maid service however - you are the maid. All in all - a great experience.

Room Tip: The higher your floor - the better your nightime view.

My husband stays here every 3 months for meetings. I often tag along. Usually our stay is free of issues. This time we were in room 454 and we had no not water and our bathroom sick was clogged. Maintenance arrived quickly after I called the front desk. The maintenance person worked on the bathroom for about 20 minutes. No success with a fix so we had to change rooms. Unfortunately this was at 7 am and they did not provide a new room until 2:30 pm. Thus we both had to take cold showers. The second room was a standard room with hot water.

This hotel was great! It's on the strip but far enough way that it's a very quiet and pleasant stay. It was perfect for my small family. It was very clean and the staff was very friendly. Parking was ample and there is even a Burger King within walking distance. Would definitely recommend!

Had the opportunity to stay there for one night, located just beside the outlet malls, but not within walking distance of the strip. However, there is a free shuttle to the strip (till 11pm) and also the airport (24 hrs). The junior suite was a steal, such big room and very affordable. Breakfast was good, made to order.
