“A Memorial Memorial Day Weekend”
Reviewed March 30, 2013

Used Presidential Limo to pick me up from my BA flight. With no checked bags, I was off the plane and in the hotel in about 45 minutes (including clearing immigration and customs). The driver was great and enjoyed the short ride chatting with him.

Check in was fast and I got upgraded from a regular resort deluxe room to a panoramic room and tipped to thank the kind lady checking me in. The room had all the fixings, nothing was missing. Loved the view out of the floor to ceiling windows, especially when the sun was just right, could see the red glow of red rock canyon way off in the distrance. The room is nicely laid out and the best room I have had on the strip yet (if you subtract the Marquee suite at MGM). The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom well laid out and large.

Only had one issue with room service leaving a dirty cleaning rag in the bathroom sink one day, otherwise, they did a decent job.

It was memorial day weekend and the place was hopping. I was with a larger group that was based down at the Monte Carlo, so I cabbed it back and forth frequently. No problems getting a taxi at Wynn and short waiting lines.

Had one issue with the bell hop: I was trying to drop off a pair of pants to be cleaned and took ages (it was 4:00 am) to find somebody to take them off my hand. Otherwise, service was excellent with every encounter.

Drink service, with proper tipping, was nothing short of spectacular while playing the slots. I couldn't keep up with my server - despite the casino being packed.

Would love to stay here again and if they give me another great offer I will. I wouldn't pay the "retail" rates for this place, with so many other great options available at lower prices.

Normally we stay at the Cosmopolitan when in Vegas but for some reason the rates were better at the Wynn over the March Madness weekend. The room was luxurious and super clean. Service in all areas from the casino to the restaurants to the "snack bar" at Le Reve exceeded expectations. For such a high end resort (with the exception of one incident at Andrea's-see that review) the place never felt stuffy or exclusive in a negative way. This hotel is handily located across the street from the Fashion Show mall and lots of other restaurants so that is a plus. This will be our new "go-to" when we can't make it to the Cosmopolitan!
Caution: Around 10pm thousands of 20 somethings come out to party at the various nightclubs in Wynn and Encore but this is just how it goes in Vegas in general.

The spa area looked phenomenal but we did not try it as that is just not our cup of tea. We also skipped the buffet to save a few calories ;)

If you're in Vegas, stay here. It's the best hotel on the strip and I've stayed in most of them. The breakfast buffet is immense and only challenged by the wicked spoon at the Cosmopolitan. The service is outstanding and the quality of the facilities is unrivaled. You'd be doing yourself a disservice staying anywhere other than here or Encore

I stayed here over the first weekend of the March madness for a conference. The meeting rooms are great, the catering service for the breaks and at lunch was fantastic for a conference. The staff were very friendly I hit the restaurants and bars at peak times and they were excellent, but the waits were a bit long. The sports book room is one of the better ones I have been to and the seating is great for watching the games. A bar is right next door. I played table games at other casinos so can't comment on that aspect. The rooms are gorgeous, well appointed and secure. I would recommend holding a small to mid size conference here.

Having stayed for 4 nights at the Four Seasons before arriving here, it really highlighted Hotels different selling points. We upgraded to a huge tower parlour suite, which was magnificent. Best Room I've ever stayed in. I doubt there is a better room in the world. BUT..... The service is false, no information given as to what extras you are privileged to. You can have a free breakfast but still have to pay $12 tip and $4 for toast!! No one smiles, and guests in this private area seemed aggressive and rude. American women snapping their fingers for service. The staff were not trained in personal service and really didn't help at all.
The pool area is magnificent and here the service was quite good. The food and drink was very nice if pricey.
Please do stay for a couple of nights in a parlour suite, everyone should experience this splendour.
Main little gripes are having DVD players in both lounge and bedroom but no DVD Library to borrow or hire from. No coffee machine or kettle in room, No ICE Machine on floor, though they will bring ice up to your room for a large Tip.
Shame as this could of been perfect, but too many Managers not Managing in the hotel. Just count the number of staff standing doing nothing and more to the point not wanting to help.

It's like stepping into a fantasy world full of flowers. Beautiful place to walk around, stop for a coffee or brouse the shops.
