“One of the unarguably best hotels on the planet.”
Reviewed November 3, 2012

It's rather hard to comment any hotel with that level of excellence which elegantly provides almost everything promised or imagined. One would indeed need no less than a full week to try the most features the hotel offers besides the casino. I didn't have that long. Nevertheless, the hotel is amazing, the rooms are perfect, the buffet restaurant is a marvel and almost every other principal feature, including the La Reve show, is just excellent.
Failed to notice any significant drawbacks (besides the high room price, of course).

Some drawbacks, however, were still noticed.
The first one is the menu at some of their on-site restaurants. Yes, there are many of them, so that you can switch from one to another if unsatisfied by the menu options. And yes, it seems quite common for the US restaurants to offer a very limited number of options in their menu. That doesn't necessarily mean, however, that such a bad practice has to be repeated in restaurants at one of the world's best hotels. Your buffet restaurant is a marvel of catering with great variety - why should your other restaurants offer choices so drastically limited, then?
The second drawback comes with the buffet use included in the room package. Claiming each such meal doesn't usually involve queueing, which is good, but does involve much paperwork at the buffet entry desk, which is not good. Does efficient management of that issue really require a waste of the client's time? Couldn't it be better managed via coupons or otherwise - like cheaper hotels do all over the world? So that the client would have to wait only if ordering any payable extras, instead of waiting for arranging admittance to each and every such meal?
The third drawback comes with the wired/wireless Internet connection in rooms. Like some of the luxury hotels, they charge roughly 15 US$ per day for such connections. That policy is a slight disappointment.

I have just come back from Vegas where I stayed for 6 nights at the Wynn for a conference.
The hotel is really great, the rooms are big, with all comforts and super clean and with modern furniture.
The service is great, the staff is very helpful and everything went out very well.
Definitely one of the best hotel in Vegas.

We have recently returned from 4 days at The Wynn Hotel, and it was amazing, the hotel is facbulous, the rooms just amazing, floor to ceiling windows, buttons to open the curtains, turn the light on and off, air con, a HUGE bathroom, great mini bar, just PERFECT!! The view was amazing, we could see the encore, the golf club and the mountains just wonderful! One thing is the XS night club is really loud every night, and you can hear it from your room, but to be honest if you cant beat them join them, we did and it was the best night of my life, the best nightclub ever!! Its pricey with bottle service and bottles start from $500 each, but we got a great deal of $2000 for 8 of us with 4 bottles of vodka, a waitress, a server and our own bouncer. When in vegas you have to get with the lifestyle and it was worth every penny! My main recommendation for people staying at The Wynn is get a RED CARD, we got one and you use it every time you bet, and you get great perks when you collect points, we got loads of free credit, and we also got 4 free buffets which was over $100. So def def get one of these, you can register when you get there. We ate at Allegro which was ok a nice italian, but a bit too close to the casino floor so i found it quite noisy. The food in general was ok, the wine was beautiful. We also had breakfast at the terrace (terrace point i think it is called) get a table outside by the pool area, the breakfast was just to die for, very reasonable and just gorgeous! For quick bites and good coffee use the cafe, lovely little coffee shop inside the Wynn. USe the concierge they are fantastic, thats what they are there for and they were very helpful to us. A nice bar to go to is Bar B which is on the gaming floor, and also the bar right by the main reception, you can watch the lake from there where there are mini shows every half an hour. Please ask away if you want any help with travelling to vegas.

Room Tip: When you check in ask if you can hear the noise from XS, try and get a room the other side, but for...

The hotel is amazing and really beautiful! I loved the lobby decor. The service was great, did not get a chance to complaint about anything. We were overcharged in our check out bill but was promptly removed once I brought it to their attention. The buffet is extensive and loved the breakfast spread.

The casino is amazing ! I love the fresh feeling in the room. The carpets etc are not worn out like in MGM or some other hotels we visited.

The only thing that i found better in some other hotels was the pool, wished it was more awesome.

But def going to stay here again for sure !

As for the location it is not in the middle so you have a lot of walking to do.

Tips: Ask for rooms higher and they do oblige and give you great rooms.

The hotel, the rooms and all of the facilties are beautiful. Over the top beautiful.
Unfortunately I was staying there on business (not fun) and needed a good nights sleep. This did not occur on 2 of the 4 nights due to loud pounding dance music from midnight to 5 am. Upon checkin the front desk did not warn me that facing the golf course on the 37th floor would be so loud. At the very least a warning would have been appreciated.
One other small beef is the daily internet fee. Seriously? Even the Travelodge provides free internet. Wynn, you can do better than this.

Fantastic room. Great meal at The SW. This is such a beautiful hotel and very tasteful which is not always the case in LV. So much has changed in LV since my last visit and the Wynn is exceptional. Everything I could ask for. And am loving the mega warm weather. Yes!!
