This hotel was beautiful. The standard room with 1 king bed was elegant, very nice room. We were disappointed with the fact that wireless internet was not free, $15/day and the gym was also about $15/day. Local & toll free calls were also an additional fee.
We decided to go with a smoking room in order to avoid a 2hr wait for a non smoking room. It really smelled strong...next time wait the 2 hrs in order to get a fresh smelling room.
The buffet was amazing. We had read mixed reviews prior to going, but in the end we loved it. $19.99 breakfast, $24.99 lunch and $29.99 or 34.99 dinner. Best dessert station I've seen in a buffet.
The swimming pool was also beautiful. Very clean and comfortable lounging chairs.

I've stopped at quite a few hotels in Vegas, nearly all in the 'top 10' on Trip advisor and I can honestly say this hotel is the best of the lot. I know the reviews provided on Trip Advisor are generally based on people's personal preferences (otherwise Wynn, Encore, Bellagio, Four Seasons and Mandarin would be in the top 5) and I've read some reviews where they knock off a rating point because there isn't a kettle in the room!!!!!!!!!!, but if you want elegance, luxury, style, a big beautiful swimming pool with spare loungers, some of the best restaurants and to avoid the hustle and bustle of the crowds you find in the Bellagio - then the Wynn is for you. We stayed on the 60th (top) floor facing the strip with a floor to ceiling window. Everything in the room is controlled by a remote, including the curtains which is a beautiful experience when they open in the morning revealing the amazing view of the strip and the mountains in the distance. Lovely bed linen and robes and the bathroom was huge, with a separate toilet. The hotel is also located at our favourite end of the strip with the Fashion Show Mall across the road (a bridge direct from the Wynn Esplenade ((Wynn shops)). We liked the fact that within a few minutes you can walk into the crowds in the middle of the strip and then walk back to the more relaxed atmosphere of the Wynn. The casino was very plush and clean with hardly any smoke, but if you are going to gamble here be prepared to bet big or be made to look silly by the 21 year old girl next to you who has $5000 in chips compared to your $500 (personal experience!). Highly recommended hotel.

We stayed at the Wynn for 4 days mid-May 2011.

The hotel itself was beautiful. The grounds were immaculate, rooms were very clean & large & modern, staff were very nice, and service was good.

Food was definitely a weak point. You read the information about the hotel and how it has all these top chefs but frankly it was horrible. We were part of a large conference, so maybe that's why it was bad (serving 500 people at once), but we certainly expected better. Even the breakfast buffet was bad.

And the prices were pretty ridiculous, as well. At one spot in the hotel, I paid $10 (with tip) for a bud light. Not a tall boy or extra large draft - just a regular can. That's a bit much. I won't even tell you the price of some of the 'fun' drinks (although it didn't stop us from ordering them!).

For something different, try the wine bar next to the pool. Great spot for some wine & some 'tapas' (small plates of food, meant for sharing). I will say that it was the one place that the food was good.

Having been to Vegas 2 other times, if I go again, I think I'd stay more in the 'core' of the strip, not at the Wynn - which is more on the outer edge.

From the arrival together with my spouse at the hotel to the departure - everything was totally perfect in this hotel! We had the luck to arrive midweek - so there was no line at check-in and the receptionist (Michael?) took enough time to present us the hotel and facilities and of course all upgrade options. The deals offered for the suites were great - but no thank you, however to the suggestion to book an upgrade to a newly renovated room on one of the top floors with perfect view over the strip we could not resist. You cannot imagine the feeling when you get in the room, you hit the button to open the curtains and suddenly you see the sunset and a breathtaking view over the city - priceless!!! We hope to return soon.... next time for our wedding!

We stayed at the Wynn for 4 nights - 4 of the best nights I`ve spent at any Las Vegas hotel - ever. We have stayed at the Bellagio, Venetian, etc ., and they cannot complete with the ambience and beauty of this hotel.
We stayed on the 28th floor with a view of the Trump tower and Treasure Island which was perfect. The room was beautiful with leather sofa and chairs, plasma screen TV, lots of drawer and closet space and an extremely comfortable bed with great pillows. The bathroom had a wonderful shower, huge tub, double sinks, TV, and a separate toilet stall.
The hallways and hotel areas had a calming influence - not loud and garish like other casinos.
The pool area is huge with comfortable seats and as many towels as you wanted - free ice water available especially on a 105 degree day!
Restaurants such as Lakeside Grill was fabulous - their fillet just melts in your mouth! All their restaurants served excellent food. The esplanade is wonderful with Alexander McQueen, Rolex, Louis Vitton and Manolo Blanik - some of the shops that are featured there.
Attended Le Reve (Cirque du Soleil) and Celine Dion - two wonderful, outstanding shows.
The service was top-notch throughout our stay - front desk, housekeeping, hostess, valet - no scrowls, etc., everyone we met was eager to help in any way to make our stay wonderful.
Parking was free and internet $13.99 which is the same at other hotel resorts
I will not be staying at any other hotel but Wynn Las Vegas and I`ve been coming to Las Vegas at least every other year for 15 yrs. I will tell all my colleagues and friends that it is the best place to stay in Vegas if you want the best!

Room Tip: We had a deluxe room which was wonderful
