We ate in verandah last week having booked in advance. On arrival, the restaurant was actually pretty empty which I was surprised about. We had an 8pm booking on a Saturday.

So, the Verandah is located inside the lovely four seasons hotel in las vegas, right next to mandalay bay just off the main vegas strip. We had a warm welcome and were seated quickly. The furnishings are all really nice and the lighting low so as to offer a nice, intimate meal. As we all american restaurants, the bar area had a flatscreen TV on the go - I thought that was a little out of place/sports bar like for a classic italian place....minor point though.

We had a good selection to choose from. I had soup of the day to start whereas my other half didn't fancy a starter. When they brought mine out, they also brought a sampler for the other half too, compliments of the chef. Nice touch.

Lots of nice wine and some useful input from the waiter in choosing a decent bottle. The prices range from the 40's through to much higher for wine/champers. I went for a 52 dollar Malbec from Argentina....yum!

Mains were excellent. I had a seafood 'pot' which was actually served in a pot....see picture. It was amazing. The other half had risotto and that was lovely too.

We were too stuffed for dessert, not least as they continued to bring fresh bread to us throughout the meal.

Service was prompt and the waiter and chap clearing plates were both attentive and available.

Our meal for two + wine came to $130 + we left a $20 tip as we felt the food and service more than justified this. Once we had paid, we asked to take a easy chair and our wine and the staff were only too happy to relocate us to a sofa to finish our vino.

All in all, a very good meal with good service and a nice atmosphere. It was a little quiet but personally, I don't mind that so much.

If you like Italian food, this is certainly a decent option in Vegas and a welcome break from the strip of sin city.

To be Four Seasons quality it was not the best. Food was ok, but for the quality of food in Las Vegas, we could've paid the same price at a better restaurant.
Poor execution and not creative at all.

A bit pricey but honestly the best eggs benedict I've ever had...cooked perfectly. And the Bloody Mary's are a meal all by themselves--really! They come decked out with a huge shrimp, marinated mushrooms, peppers and olives...best I've ever had.

One of 2 restaurants at the Four Seasons. Long breakfast hours, which is great for late-starters. Dinner was also delicious.

l made a special trip here based on the reviews, and I wouldn't say I was disappointed but I guess it didn't live up to the reviews. The breakfast buffet was only set out 1/2 an hour before our arrival and the food was already suffering. The only highlight was the fresh doughnuts
