After cruising "the strip" and considering our options for vegan sustenance we decided on Phil's. We were promptly and graciously greeted and sat by the hostess. Our server, Tony, gave us time to review the drink options while we sipped our water and contemplated which bottle of wine to get.
The "bacon-bread" which came before the meal was not an option for us but, it was swapped out for some tasty foccacia.
We both chose the Pine-Nut and Basil Crusted Gardein “Chicken” with morel mushrooms, fingerling potatoes and sauteed broccoli rabe. WOW, this was by far the best vegan meal I've ever had!
I want to applaud the restaurant for not only accommodating and respectful of our dining preferences but for putting the most delicious vegan meal as a regular menu choice.
If we make it back to Las Vegas in the future you can be sure another visit to Phil's Italian Steakhouse will be on the agenda.
