Description: The Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas is the first authentic German-Bavarian restaurant in Las Vegas. The restaurant is the first replica of the world’s most famous beer hall from its hand-painted ceilings to its food and drink. The beer is brewed in Munich under the 400-year-old purity law and shipped fresh to Las Vegas. Hofbräu draft beers are: premium lager, wheat beer, dark beer and seasonal beers. Bavarian charm and live music abound, and guests can savor schnitzels, sausages, Sauerbraten and pretzels. With its beer hall and air-conditioned Biergarten (beer garden), it’s Oktoberfest every day. Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas also features live music nightly. In addition, take-out service is available. Groups are invited, and Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas can accommodate parties up to 1,000. Call the professional sales team at (702) 740-7888 for more information.

We went for lunch with a group of friends. It was over the top but great. Prices were a little steep but the Octoberfest beer was great! Everyone with us who had german food enjoyed it (those who got hamburgers were disappointed - not a shock in a german restaurant bad call on their part). Their pretzel really is the best in the area. Mustards were wonderful as well! Entertainer (who looked like a bad guy from the first Die Hard movie) was a hoot and wasn't too intrusive.

I have to say everyone who was here was having a good time. It's a huge cavernous place with two enormous rooms that are probably 3-4 stories high. There are no soft surfaces anywhere, which I sure was on purpose, so the echo is quite omnipresent. Probably the loudest restaurant (if you want to call it that) you will ever visit. But you have to understand, you're in Vegas and no one comes here to have a bad time. A spontaneous conga line formed and wasn't longing for participants. All in all a fun atmosphere. Go for that reason and you'll enjoy yourself. Go for some good German food, like I did, and you'll be disappointed. $8 for a 170z mediocre draft beer that was 40% head, $14 for a dry footlong hot dog. Very salty liver mousse, I will say it was the best sauerkraut I've ever had and I was raised on sauerkraut.

what a place to have some great beer based Germanic fun. Good authentic feel to the place and great beer with traditional german food on offer and watch out for the spanking when you order a shnapps....noisy and fun but can still take the family

So disappointed! I was happy we made reservations - wait time was only 10 minutes but that is the best I can say. The noise was so lound it was uncomfortable, the wait staff not congenial, helpful, nor swift. The food was OK. 10oz beer for $7 and entree's $20 plus. If you want a really loud bunch of inebrieted diners while sitting on benchs, chairs, etc then this might be for you. I'll not beback.
Give it a pass.

The food and the beers were really great. The atmosphere of the place is very positive and the service staff were good. Didn't care for the 'paddling' of patrons ordering shots. No one likes seeing fat guys get spanked.
