“FANTASTIC Happy Hour”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

Embers is our new favorite neighborhood spot. The small, quaint, upscale decor and the friendly staff make this spot a gem! We only ever go for happy hour, so I can say that their happy hour drink and food menu are just what you need after a long day! Their Manhattan is so, so good. Happy hour food favorites include sliders, and the hummus. But trust me it is ALL so good!

gr8 happy hour small plates & drinks. For dinner the scallops & miso salmon were very good but the food is over salted and overspiced but good.

“Open Wall”
Reviewed July 24, 2013

We ate at the Embers again on a Tuesday night. Although we met for an early dinner, the restaurant was sparsely populated. Only two other tables were occupied. We sat inside, as rain was threatening, but the collapsible wall that leads to patio dining allowed for outdoor ambiance.service was a little disjointed, as we (two couples) wanted to chat before dinner but the wait red stopped by every few minutes to take our orders. Once we ordered, coffee refills were slow coming and service was slow.

I had the tri-tip steam and another at our table had a burger. Presentation was nice, tri-tip was on a bed of cooked greens and surrounded with potato slices and barbecue sauce. Good choice. I would return.

“"Goat Cheese and Fig Crostinis." - the size of Ritz Crackers...”
Reviewed July 8, 2013

We ate here last week using a Groupon. Arrived early and was told groupon did not apply to Happy Hour servings. Nice waitress tried pushing drinks and later dessert ( to be expected I suppose). We ordered two salads; spinach and steak. Neither was prepared very well. Bacon dressing on the spinach smelled rancid and the 'steak' if one could call it that amounted to some slices no more than 2 ounces total. Those "Goat Cheese and Fig Crostinis" which we ordered as an appetizer were OK but just that. 4 of them could have fit in a small ashtray. Seems like more than a few shills are writing to say how wonderful everything is at this place, actually, one of many storefronts in an elaborately-stage strip mall called Boca Park. I would not recommend this place and do not intend to return.

“Romantically Delicious”
Reviewed May 28, 2013

A romantically, relaxing dining experience topped off with some delicious food and yummy drinks. I love the outdoor dining option, next to a fountain that contributes to a tranquil feeling. Must try selections: Bacon Wrapped Dates, Spicy Ahi Tuna, Goat Cheese and Fig Crostinis.
