We had dinner prior to seeing a show. Allowed 2 hours, took a little over 1 hour (so had a little time to gamble). We sat in a two-person clamshell type table (thus the Old Vegas feel). Our waiter was attentive, but not bothersome. Our dinners were delicious and were plenty of food. No room at all for desert.
The dress code is listed as casual. We wore polo shirts and jeans. Upon arrival I felt that we were a little underdressed. (The atmosphere seemed more formal than that.), but then we saw folks in shorts and flip-flops, so I felt some better.
My partner and I both started with the wedge salad, which was a beautiful as it was delicious. I had the Canal Street Trio which consisted of a small filet, two scallops and two shrimp, served with a really good mushroom risotto. He had the ossa bucho which I tasted and it was fall-off-the-bone tender and delectable.
So if you should find yourself near the Orleans in Vegas, you won't go wrong with a dinner at the Canal Street Steak & Seafood.
