“Good timeshare trade”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 10, 2013

We stayed in their newest tower. Had a two bedroom unit that turned out to be two separate one bedroom units connect by an entry way. Each room had a full kitchen, dining room, master bedroom with Jacuzzi jetted tub and a large bathroom with double sink and a shower. Very nice pools and gym. Grandview also offer room service with basic bar food and pizzas. Some activities and tours for a fee are offered. Free Shuttle just about every morning to grocery store. Grandview is about 6-8 miles south on Las Vegas Blvd. The Southpoint Casino is an easy walk across a side street from Grandview. Southpoint has a lot to offer. So it may not be necessary to go to the main strip, depending on your needs. Otherwise you need to drive, taxi or bus it to the main strip.
This is our second trip to Grandview with two other couples. Would stay there again.

The Grandview is just wonderful. We traded our condo for a two bedroom unit. It was a great trade. The two bedroom is really two one bedroom units. You enter the outer door and then there are two doors for a A and B unit which are identical. It's nice you can leave the inner doors open and when necessary they can be closed. The units were beautiful, very well equipped, clean, quiet, and lacked nothing. As I mentioned, it's my favorite condo and I plan to go back. The internet seemed to work well. Parking was a little challenging, but workable. They are opening a new building soon which might help as it looks to have a lot of spaces.
Don't miss the South Point Casino next door, it's very nice with many restaurants. I found that I didn't need to go to any of the other casino's as South Point had everything we needed or wanted.

Thank you for your lovely review of our resort! The Grandview at Las Vegas features A & B suites that have a common foyer with separate locks for each suite. These rooms can be rented separately depending on availability and price but this unique combination is very popular with timeshare owners and guests alike because it offers luxurious accommodations with maximum privacy for large parties. We’re happy to hear you enjoyed your stay with us and we look forward to your next visit!

Just returned from one week at Grandview. When we first arrived our air conditioner would not go on nor would the television. We called the front desk and within 5 seconds of hanging up the phone, maintenance came, replaced the batteries for the air to turn on and coded the tv to turn on. Also, the shower was slow and another call brought a maintenance person who replaced the shower head - and just like that we had excellent water flow. Check in and check out were a breeze. There was also a room to watch tv, have coffee, and use the free computers. No problems at all. Our rooms were very spacious and clean. Would not hesitate to return.

Room Tip: We've stayed here a few times in different rooms, and all were quite lovely

After reading reviews about the hard sale on the time share, I was worried about my stay. We arrived at around 10:30pm on a Friday evening and the lobby was quiet. Check in was swift and all questions answered quickly. We were asked to stop at another desk for our "Welcome Packet", I asked if I could pick it up the next morning and was advised I could. I figured this may be the pitch, so I never picked up the packet. We were never approached or contacted about setting up an appointment for the presentation. I did see a ton of people touring the facility but it did not interrupt my stay. I stayed in the Daisy building and was very satisfied with the room. Very clean and spacious. Our view was of the South Point Casino next door and there was no problems with the room until Monday morning when construction on the new building at South View started up for the week. It wasn't terribly loud but I could hear hammering.

The pool areas was well kept and towels were plentiful. The music at the pool was pleasant, maybe a touch to loud but that could be because there weren't a ton of people at the pool.

Overall it was a great stay and I will be back if given the opportunity!

Room Tip: Ask for a room that doesn't overlook South Point.

Traded my timeshare week into this resort not knowing what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. Wanted a place off the strip but convenient to everything with space to invite another couple. This two bedroom is actually two separate one bedrooms units connected by a door to the main hallway allowing for plenty of privacy if you want it. Both units come fully equipped including a small washer dryer combo and are very spacious. This is a fairly large complex with 9 buildings and we were in a newly renovated one which was very nice. The resort was nice and quiet during our stay The South point Casino is a short walk across the street with several bars and several places to eat and has all the gaming you could want
This casino also has an indoor equestrian center and there was a horse show going on with people from all over the country when we were there. The Grandview is convenient to rt. 15 and Las Vegas blvd There is a shuttle to the strip but I recommend renting a car to have more control over the use of your time. Staff is friendly and security rides around in golf carts offering to help in any way As with any time share when you check in you will be offered a free breakfast or shows or whatever they think might get you to show up to a presentation but we declined and we were not bothered after that. You don't need to be a time share owner to stay here. There are several nice pools located between the buildings. I would defined stay here again

First impressions are lasting and we’re thrilled that you enjoyed your stay at The Grandview at Las Vegas! Located away from the hustle of the Strip but close enough to the glitz of Vegas makes us a favorite for travelers visiting the city. We believe our amenities far out-weigh those that are offered in most hotels and we appreciate you sharing your experience here on tripadvisor. We look forward to welcoming you back for another relaxing vacation soon!

First I will say that we bought this as an extra vacation from RCI for 2/2 an amazing deal, for that I would give it 5 stars. But, being an RCI member, I am reviewing for others based on cost/points value. We read up on all the properties to choose from and went with the Grandview because of the casino next door. We also rented a car from Dollar, which I we got a killer deal on for the week, you can park free at any of the hotels on the strip and we wanted the freedom to come and go as we pleased. The guys played golf and we drove out to Hoover Dam, which saved us money renting a car vs. paying pp trips.
As for the Grandview, very clean and nice grounds, everyone was very helpful, calling up housekeeping was easy and fast! We were not in the newer buildings, but both condos were very nice and clean, as was our building and pool. I would have given this a five star IF my bed linens weren't so worn out and holes in my towels, pillows had been washed too many times. The linens really need an update! We absolutely loved the location, great mountain views, only 7 miles to the strip, close to lots of grocery stores, etc. The Southpoint Casino was a HUGE bonus, the Spa is amazing! We did the 3 day pass and used just the spa, no services and it was awesome, one of the nicest spas in Vegas. Gambling was fun, cheap, and profitable! The food choices were excellent at SP and so was the service! It's literally across the side street! We have stayed at some high end hotels on the strip and I must say with the 2/2 which is 2 separate condos, this was our favorite! YOu can have fun on the strip and then leave, you are not "trapped". !. Rent a car 2. enjoy all Vegas has to offer!

About 6 mi south of 'the strip'. Recently completed a new 21 floor building, making a total of 7-8 buildings. Several swimming pools, 1 for small children, another 1 very few people use. Still actively selling time shares for the property. We 'exchanged' in. We were on the 19th floor, had no problems with elevator, don't remember waiting more than 1 minute for it. Checking in was no problem, but because of sales promotions, a lot of 2 to 3 night stayers, meaning the sign in area was always busy. After check in you have to go to another desk to get your parking pass which was a ploy for the time share sales. Accomodations were great, large rooms, all amenities. If you don't want to go to the strip, a great casino is just across the street. It's a major casino in town with indoor equestrian rings, theater, bowling alley, etc. No restaurant on site, but several at the casino.

Room Tip: there is a 3 floor parking garage at the west end of the property, always plenty of parking there. A...
