Have stayed at the Grandview numerous times, and it never disappoints. Rooms are gigantic with full kitchens, well appointed bathrooms, and enough big screen tvs to make a Wal Mart jealous....easy access to all interstates, so we can explore dining choices as well as various shows, different casinos...including Southpoint just across the street...and our favorite in Henderson. Free show tickets if you can sit through a timeshare pitch....but a fun and comfortable and safe place to stay.

Currently staying here. Yesterday, I received a call from a staff member who had assumed that I had been informed about a "complimentary" breakfast when I had checked in. Upon learning that I didn't, she started telling me all about it and then asked about my husband's availability. When she learned that he was totally unavailable to attend, she abruptly concluded with, "Okay then. Have a good day!" No explanation as to why the "complimentary" offer suddenly disappeared. I let it go since it was probably a timeshare presentation. She could have been more honest and professional about it.

Yesterday evening, we were relaxing in the main pool area. A man approached us at 7:40pm, showed us his Idaho drivers license, and began to ask us for $10 to feed his children (they were not with him). He admitted he had spent all of his money at South Point Casino next door. He was pretty demanding with his approach and wouldn't take no for an answer right away. He must have had a room key to enter the pool area. We reported him to security.

Today, we called for more toiletries. 1 hour later, we callee to follow up. 30 more minutes later, we followed up again. The front desk clerk cut me off and said, "Housekeeping said they dropped it off in your room on the counter." To which I replied, "We have been in the room the entire time." She presses, "The housekeeper left them in Room ***A." "We are not in Room ***A." She curtly replied, "Well, they're in Room ***A!" I was shocked, thinking to myself, "Does this lady want me to break into the room next door?" I reasoned calmly, "But we do not have Room ***A, only Room ***B." She didn't even apologize for the error and said, instead, "I will call the Housekeeping Supervisor and will get back to you." I actually didn't need her to get back to me (she never did, by the way), and within 15 minutes, a housekeeper arrived. I didn't feel like confronting the rude front desk clerk but when presented with the opportunity later on today, I will let her superiors know. Such unprofessionalism can certainly dampen one's stay and overall impression of this place (not to mention that the towels that were delivered had somebody else's hair tucked in between them).

P.S. The bed isn't the most comfortable but is on par with the price. The pools are small but quiet during the weekdays. Occasionally, you will still get a whiff of that disgusting second-hand smoke...not sure if pool is a nonsmoking area. The gym looks like a decent size. The 1 bedroom is relatively clean though showing signs of wear and tear. Not sure if we have any neighbors but we don't seem to hear any noise coming from any of them. Do know that we share the same room entrance with them that puts us in a small space that has two doors: one to Room ***A and another to Room ***B. If we ever did have a next-door neighbor, we certainly hope it isn't that weird guy who had asked us for $10 to feed his children.

We are staying now at the Grandview and we are enjoying it, spacious rooms, very clean and very relaxing. It's 10 minutes by car away from the strip and that suits us perfectly!! We will be back for certain!

Stayed in April 2013 for one week during trade exhibition. This is my 2nd stay.

Pros:
- Spacious Rooms
- Clean and well maintained room

Cons:
- Parking seemed to be a problem this time, as would need to circle around for a while or park far away.
- Neighbour kept on slamming their doors all days and nights, especially as two apartments shares the same main entrance.

Room Tip: Ask for new building

Thank you for sharing your comments. We’re happy that you enjoyed our spacious rooms and housekeeping but are sorry that you were disappointed with your neighbors and our parking lot. . Unfortunately the resort’s hi-rise buildings only have so many front parking spaces available, but there is a multi-level parking garage on site that provides additional parking for guests. We look forward to your return so that we may have another opportunity to prove that we are always the best choice in Las Vegas.

The suites were very clean and spacious. I loved the decorum, the full size kitchen, washer dryer, the huge bathroom and jacuzzi. The only downside was waiting for the shuttle bus to the strip which was about eight miles out. However the compromise for paying $8.00 for a day pass vs. $40.00(one way) was worth it. The grounds are well maintained and the staff is more than happy to help. During our stay we arrived on a Wednesday and missed the shuttle to a nearby Wal-Mart which didn't come to Saturday at 9:00am. No problem! Found a huge 24 hour CVS on the strip the first night and loaded up on bottled water, Cereals, yogurts, and snacks, etc. Bought a cute LV disposable bag to lug all the groceries in rather than the grocery bags. Other than that we ate at restaurants on the strip for lunch/dinner. Loved the atomosphere and the casino next door South Pointe is beautiful. Movie theater, bowling alley, restaurants and bars. Plenty of slots and gambling. Great place to stay and after being on the strip all day and night. Its nice to come back to peace, quiet and a jacuzzi to rest your feet and legs in! :)

My family owns two timeshares and we decided to exchange into this property for a quick getaway. The resort is falling apart with broken air conditioners, doors that won't close properly, and faulty lighting. They had the audacity to ask us to buy into this dump!!!! Don't waste your money on a resort whose air conditioners don't work and who tries to coerce you into buying this piece of junk!!!! Stick with a trusted brand like Marriott and you won't be sorry!!! By the way, they don't clean their bedding so who knows what you will be sleeping with!!!!

Thank you for your candid comments on your stay with us. We wish you would’ve expressed your concerns about your accommodations to the front desk staff while you where here. We certainly don’t want guests to have an unclean room or one with faulty equipment and would have corrected the issues you had or moved you to a different room. We’ve received many positive reviews regarding our accommodations and housekeeping and we’re disappointed that we failed to meet your expectations during your stay. We regret that you now have a negative impression of us and we hope you will reconsider and return so that we may have another opportunity to prove that we are always the best choice for a Las Vegas vacation.
